Used 2004 Ford Mustang Consumer Reviews
The rest are gone, but the pony thunders
Even though the platform is old Ford kept the "car" current. Mustang is and always will be more than a car. It is an icon to a lifestyle that Americans, both young and old, still want to hold on to. Long live the "pony car".
Spring time fun
I love this car. I just got it about 2 weeks ago, found one still new on the dealer showroom floor. It's so fun to drive and gets pretty good gas mileage. I am told the gas mileage will get better once the car is broken in. It handles the corners nicely, and has a good feel to the acceleration. If you want that nice breeze you just drop the top and go. It's the best mustang I have driven so far.

not satisfied
I have had problems since the day I got this car. All electrical, right now the car in is the shop b/c all the lights came on on the dash for no reason and my fuel gage went to from a full tank to empty and gas gage came on with all the others. To begin with the radio some how made the car not crank. The ford place were rude to me, have been since I bought the car and I will never buy a ford again in my life. Oh and I wasnt given a spare key with my car which was a demo, thus roadside assistance scratched my newly tinted windows They are beautiful cars but horribly made, they drink gas, buy something else besides a ford!
V-6 = Noise, Vibration, no fun at all
We purchased the car for the low price, standard features and fuel economy. On the plus side, fuel economy is good and is near the rated numbers. The engine is anything but smooth, and does not like to be revved above 2,500 RPM without a lot of coaxing. Clutch throw is nearly a foot, transmission is clunky; it is NOT fun to shift especially around town. The computer keeps the engine between 2,000-3,000 between shifts which sounds and feels totally awkward. The car developed several creeks and clunks right away. Not impressed at all; I wished we would have bought another Honda instead!
kickass
mine beat a carrera
Ford Mustang
I currently own a Mustang Convertible. It rides great and is a must have sporty look for a valued price.. The only complaints is the cheap quality of the interior trim. While the back seat and trunk is small, it is bigger than most convertibles and is apropriate for the "sporty" look.
It's a spunky car!!!!!!!!!!
The mustange appeals to people of all ages. There is nothing like feeling the wind in your face as your traveling along .....with the top down I love the way the mustang handles and the turn ratio is great.Everything is at my finger tips and I love the trunk button. With the rise in gas prices I'm happy it's better on fuel than my suv......I drive in Florida during the winter months so I have no idea how it is in snow. The weakness is the small back seat ......but it's perfect for shopping bags...... hubby bought it for my 55th birthday.....In that car nobody would ever guess my age <wink>
What you don't see under that pony body
When I bought this car I was in love with it and any other mustang fan would agree its absoutley beautiful yellow mach 1 but after the so called "new" wore off it started to rattle and every since about 10000 miles its gotten worse and worse by the day! as far as performance and reliability its a GREAT car!!! so if you are a true mustang fan like my self you won't mind it that much just turn up the radio or punch the gas and drown it out b/c even know it rattles its still a HOT A8SS car!!!!!!!!
Mustang Mach 1
This car has some real getty up. It's a true eye catcher with the shaker hood scoupe.
Awesome performance
The Mach1 has the performance of the days when cars were measured by horsepower and handling. Qwning a 73 Mustang I truly believed that Ford would never build a truly affordable muscle car again, but the 2004 Mustang Mach1 has restored my believe in Ford.
