'03 Cobra Convertible after 6500 miles

The 2003 Cobra is a real muscle car but handles better. My HP is higher than advertised. The car's a blast to drive. It runs to 55 in 1st, 85 in 2nd. Torque curve is so high and flat that the car pulls like a freight train. Mine tested at >320 ft-lbs of torque at the rear wheels from 1900 to 6200 rpm, topping out at 373 (410+ @ engine). The top and windows can be down up to 65 with comfort and with the windows up to 100. The rear wheels do hop instead of sliding when you push it too hard in low gears with cold or wet tires. Traction control is very good and makes driving on wet roads easy.

In Pursuit Of A Ford Mustang Grey

This is a super beast. Almost 400 horses roaring to be let loose underneath your foot and when you let them go they are sprinting! Superchargers are always great. I bought this car in the color grey and it reminds me of the movie "Gone in 60 Seconds". My idea of driving is "Drive like you stole it" and I love that line and its my motto. This car certainly fufiles that motto for me and more.

One Bad Cobra

I read all the stories about this car before actually driving it and I have to say they can't come close to the exhilaration felt when accelerating. I've owned everything from a 70 Boss Mustang to Chevelle SS and Trans Am, but this car is just plain muscle. When thrown in with the creature comforts of A/C, Mach Stereo and CD player, it's just as much fun as anyone could hope for. I've even owned a 2001 Z06. It was a nice car as well, but it's a different feeling when you get behind the wheel of the Cobra. SVT finally got it right folks. I applaud their efforts.

An "Old Dog" with a few new tricks...

This "dog" is powerful yet obedient, old yet fun, full of attitude yet still civilized enough to handle on a daily basis. Ford’s SVT finally has the complete pkg. by tweaking this 25+ year old chassis to handle the new power with composure. These new adjustments allow the aging Mustang to be very competitive even with today's more expensive sports cars (I.E. Corvette or dare I say Viper) The new seats have high bolstering w/suede inserts that not only look great, but are quite comfortable, yet still functional for spirited driving though all six speeds… need I say more? Don't wait any longer; this "Old Dog" is well-trained and ready to play!

The 2003 cobra is obviously the best buy on the market putting out 425 horses at the flywheel and chevy stomping performance. Oh and you'll get the ladies.
