Used 1999 Ford Mustang Consumer Reviews
rain and snow....
I bought this car in January 2001 and for the most part its been a great car. Been through several accidents, and still in one piece, never an injury! ;) Had to have the brakes replaced and the engine serviced once, but that's really it. Runs well, accelerates really nicely, a fun car to drive (especially in electric green!) I just wanted to reply to someone saying that it ran well in rain and snow- it DOESN'T run in rain or snow! very very touchy. spins out a LOT. I'm trading it in this year for something with AWD. For what I used it for though, it was a great car.
awesome car!
This car now has 70000 miles driven by a mad man and nothing has broken ant the car still runs perfect! this car is raced at the drag strip weekly and is still as fast as the day i bought it.

35th V-6 Mustang
Fun car though be very aware of your area, of all the toys and add ons out there for stangs, nothing helps them in snow. Outside of the handling poorly in in snow and the trunk being a little small,(though both are to be a bit expected), it has been one of the most enjojable cars I have had in 20 years!
1999 Mustang GT
The only thing I really hate about this car is the cup holder next to the stick shift is all but useless. You can't even put a soda can there as the gear shift hits it in 2nd gear.
Buy with Caution
This is not a vehicle to buy if you have no other mode of transportation. It handles beautifully in ideal conditions (i.e. dry roads) but is truly awful in all others. If you tend to punch the gas on take off, as I do, the tires will just spin if the road is anything but perfectly dry. Even with an extra 280lbs. in the trunk, it handled like a bobsled in the rain or snow.
