2025 Maverick XLT Hybrid AWD
Picked up my truck Jan 21st. This is my first truck and first hybrid. Thought the power would be an issue but this truck walks tall, you wont be setting track records but has enough punch to get you anywhere you go. The gas mileage is unbelievable my best MPG into work is 40 (highway, back road mix) and my best MPG going home from work is 53 (mostly back roads, little bit of highway). The ride is incredibly smooth, and it handles snow and icy roads with ease. I love this vehicle, would highly recommend test driving one if you are interested in them.

Best Vehicle I have ever purchased
Love the car/truck. At first I thought it was ugly but now it has grown on me. I am constantly getting compliments on it. Everyone asks about the mileage. I drive 132mi rnd trip each day to work half the drive thru hilly mountain roads the other half on interstate. I average life time of the vehicle 41.1 mpg I don't drive hard "about" 5mph over speed limit. I love the lane assist feature and constantly use the radar cruise control feature to maintain distance between the car in front of me. I use the eco feature on interstate and normal mode thru the hills. I have not towed with it so I can not tell about tow mode but must say that I hate sport mode with the fake shifts the CVT provides. I do wish the eco mode would stay on after I shut off the vehicle. I also do not like the fact that the trip resets once the door is opened. I wish the phone would connect thru bluetooth as I use it for primary music and map functions. The Ford app to start the vehicle is nice as it is warm or cool when I get into it. Also the heated steering wheel rocks. Major improvements ford can make to this is AWD and plug-in hybrid technology.

Happy With My Maverick
This is a good truck at a good price. It drives well, looks fine, and gets great gas mileage.

Lack of punch
the hybrid version is sadly lacking in the power department. Otherwise it’s OK
Only way to go
99.9% of this truck is perfect the only thing is the foot throttle, too short and too thin. I'm sure other owners agree

Great little pickup with some issues
This a great little pickup for a DIYer like myself. Great on gas, decent comfort and power. However, Ford couldn’t never fix their Sync issues. Still locks up, recycle and doesn’t recognize that the phone is connected to apple carplay.

Lacking
Found it hard to get into and out of. It is the right height to load and unload and tie down items. Need a 6 foot box instead of the little box on it If they made a extended cab with wider door and a 6 foot box it would be better. The back seat people say is worthless except for kids. I always seem to have my 6 foot box full when hauling items so can't go any smaller. Some4 people haul more than a few bags of groceries of golf bags.

Perfect fit for those looking for small truck use
Recently purchased a new 2025 Maverick XLT AWD with 4k tow package and XLT Luxury package. This truck fits my needs perfect. Great to haul the wife and kids around as well as doing things for my needs. Did not want to purchase a large truck, just need something I can pull the boat around with, haul a washer or dryer, pick up a load of mulch etc. This truck does all that and then some at the cost of what an average car is today. Love all the tech and safety features as well as the AWD and heated seats. What really sets it off the charts is the ability to start the car from my phone with the Pilot360 upgrade, unlock it, turn on my heated seats all from the palm of my hand. Can be anywhere in the world and start the car, unlock it etc. I currently have 628 miles on it and it's a 2024. Purchased in July 2025 and after rebates and discounts with almost 8k in upgrades, was able to swing a deal at $29,700 for a Maverick stickers at just under $35,000. It's comfortable and the price I paid was a steal for the Ecoboost Turbo. Best part is not having sticker shock for a full size truck at $50k plus that I would hardly use daily. I have the AWD for snow and the gas mileage is currently at almost 30 mpg. That's just at break in so I would expect over 30 mpg when broken in. It's the perfect size for small family looking to use as daily driver, weekend boat puller and to fit odds and end whether in the bed or a trailer. There is a reason why it's Ford's #1 selling vehicle.
