I'm happy with the e-miles I get because i'm generally drive less than 21 miles/day. The trunk is a joke - it is pretty useless. IF Lincoln had a plug-in hybrid, I'd consider it for my next car since I think it would do better with things like noise, etc. I don't know why Ford is discontinuing the Fusion Plug-in Hybrid in 2020 but it's keeping me from buying another. I'll look at alternatives in 2019-2020 (Volvo, Hyundai, Subaru (I understand that they're coming out with the hybrid plug-in in 2020) and maybe VW. I'm not interested in the Chevy Volt (or Bolt) although I like the idea of using a small gas engine to recharge the HV battery while driving.

In town riving without Gasoline!

I get about 20 miles of electric only driving every day. I plug in with the supplied charger into a 220 volt outlet every night, and it is fully charged in the morning. When I use up my electric miles, the engine starts automatically. The car is luxuriously comfortable and quiet. I bought this car off the lot when the 2016s were about to come out. I suspect it did not sell because of the small trunk space. Good for me, I ended up with a brand new 2014 with no miles, in January 2016.

This has gotten great reviews from the experts, for good reason! Even though the price of gas has gone down, this car is still refined, quiet, well-mannered, with great electronic controls, great gas mileage, great safety features. Only problem is the price, and lowering gas prices should help the sales price.

Some minor issue included water getting in the drunk if the car is wet and you open the trunk. Also screen for Nav gets a lot of fingerprints on it and is difficult to keep clear.
