Loved mine
My mom bought it new in 07. I got it years later, it had under 100k miles on it. One time I had to have my thermometer replaced...(15$ part & 1 YouTube video later..) other than that I had zero issues! And i didn't take care of this car:( I got oil changes.. about 3k miles after the recommended on the sticker (I read it was ok to do that lol) and I made it across the country and back a few times.. Went on so many adventures with my trusty ol hoopty.. ran great but the exterior handles all broke 1 by one. never felt like taking all the doors apart to replace the exterior handles, so i Had to keep a window open to get inside the car. That, or climb through the trunk. Conveniently I had a 4 yr old at the time to climb through for me those times I wanted to keep the windows closed lol. Also the center console fell completely off pretty quick. So she was slightly ghetto lol in appearances only. I got this bad girl over 230k miles (many freeway) before I had any troubles. The transmission was acting funky and the light was on. I figured it was too expensive of a fix for my lil hoopty with all these miles on it. But, I know nothing about cars. Who knows she may still be chugging along somewhere...~

Long time Ford Owner
Newer cars may have more bells and whistles, but this car did more than meet expectations. We had it since it was new and would consider a Ford for our next purchase. At over a hundred thousand miles it is still quite road worthy. The only reason why we gave up our Focus sedan since I last updated my review, was because as my health deteriorated it became harder for me to get in and out of this vehicle. Had my health not diminished I would still love to own it to this very day.

Great car for over 5 years
The parts are relatively cheap compared to new be cars. Mine was a good car, I might have been lucky. I did all maintenance as needed and did need to replace fuel relay switch, fuel pump, master cyclinder, brake light switch. I only wished it had better gas mileage. Mine was a wagon with all the bells and whistles.

Yay. Finally!
I used to be the owner of an 08Saturn Vue, but after it was stolen I bought a the 07 Ford Focus and can't believe how happy I am with it. So spacious, great interior design, and sleek radio/ac design. Really fun to drive, because it doesn't sit too high or too low. Glad I made the switch from Saturn to Ford at only 18 I'm sure I'll be hooked for life.
Went Downhill Fast
My husband and I got this car less than two years ago brand new. We only use it for commuting to work so it has low mileage. It doesn't get the posted fuel economy.. 6 months ago it started shuddering at stops. They told us it was a transmission leak and supposedly fixed it. Two weeks ago it began dying at stops so they replaced a tranny gasket. Now only two weeks later, its shuddering, dying, and has a fast leak of transmission fluid puddling everywhere. We can smell it as we drive, too. Ford is putting a bandaid on a big hidden problem and we're thinking of trading this lemon in before the warranty is out and we're stuck replacing a transmission out of pocket.
