I would not buy this car again

This car has had a lot of issues.I bought it brand new and it cannot handle a long commute nor can it handle going up steep hills. It sucks in bumper to bumper traffic and after having it for 3 years and keeping on the scheduled maintenance I am having emissions problems, the car will not start after I get gas.The dealership did not bother to address this issue when I brought it in for the check engine light. Ford said emissions issues were not covered under my maintenance package. I have had many issues with this car. Unless you just drive around town maybe this car will work but commuting and constant driving dont bother and it sucks in gas

It's a great car, that hasn't given me any major issues yet, other than one of the rims cracked, when I went over an object. I since replaced the rims with 16" rims, and about 1" fatter tire diameter, so it has 2" more meat on it. It has been a good car, that gets me 31MPG faithfully! Just regular oil changes, top up fluids. I have just over 33k miles on it now, without any major issue. Minor issues: My 2 most irritating minor issues, is one of the valves of the airco vents is tapping (both on the passenger and on the driver side). I know I can swap them out myself for like $15-20, but I see no reason why. The valves always stay in the same position. They just end up tapping when I start the car (for like a minute or so), but the air works fine. The second irritation is only minor. I mainly listen to music on USB. But from time to time, when I start the car, it would start the radio. On my first firmware of Sync 3, it didn't do that. Only with my second and third F/W upgrade does it do this. It's kind of annoying, to have to exit Android car, to swap the source, but it's not that bad. The fw upgrades did give me better compatibility with Amazon Audible, Google maps, and more. I like that I have the manual geared car; as I hear their Fiesta with automatic gearboxes, the gearboxes are horrible! The ST has an awesome gearbox! My 2 biggest complaints about the car, is that it's made too much like a track car (without the power), and too little like a street car. That means the suspension is rough, and not that much coushion. The tires are rough (can hear the road; I would recommend swapping them out to 16" rims and meatier tires) And 6th gear on the highway is geared too low, meaning, I'm running at 3k RPM 75MPH, while the engine easily could do 75MPH at 2,5k RPM! It would have saved me so much on gas too, if they had just not made 6th gear so short to 5th gear! Lastly, I wished they had the 3 cylinder version of the engine available in USA. It's more efficient, has a higher torque figure, and weighs lighter than the 4 cylinder version. Then again, the 4 cylinder version can easily be equipped with a larger turbo (generating a bit of lag) doing 250HP with a mild stage 1 or 2 tune (some people say the engine could potentially do 400HP, but 300HP has been done before. 250 is really all it needs, while still being able to run standard gasoline!

Hi everyone had to upgrade to a 2017 Ford fiesta when my 2011 Ford fusion was totaled and it was the best decision actually a blessing as this thing is one of the best cars I’ve ever driven Starters I believe this is the best subcompact car as far as power and handling are involved while still being efficient I drive somewhere between 200 and 300 miles a day and I am somewhat of a spirited driver this thing still is able to give me 30 even at continual rate of 80 mph in my 2011 Ford fusion driving 200 300 miles a day I was getting with base four-cylinder 12 to 16 miles per gallon the fiesta has enough power to (keep up with) just about anything on the road because of its 4.04 Final Drive ratio Ford really did really well with this car I would definitely choose again the fiesta especially over another fusion or a focus i’ve only had this car a couple weeks so can’t speak on reliability but I really like how you can shift gears yourself which does come in handy in traffic as others have mentioned it can gear hunt sometimes (keep in mind it is a dual clutch manual) but yes this thing is amazing luckily I got mine with the sunroof but unfortunately did not get the sync three system as another reviewer mentioned and recommended. I believe ford purposely made the Bluetooth audio a bit difficult to work with the base radio as I continuously get out of my car about 2530 times a day and I found that it’ll switch to aUX and instead of just pressing one button you have to inconveniently go through the menu and switch Bluetooth again (i’m a delivery carrier so this can definitely be a problem) but this is a cheap car if I could do it all over I would’ve tried to search for the titanium model but then again this is a used car now I would recommend anybody searching for one of these cars to get the sync 3 system as it’s really hard to find a radio to fit this kind of car I’ve never been able to get the stated mileage or EPA of vehicle until I got this great commuter car for one to two people would not recommend for people with families as the reviewer‘s have said this car does have a small trunk and small backseat But that’s what I own another vehicle for this would be a great vehicle if your expectations are something to get just you around town or a first time drivers car Will still recommend for first time drivers because if they have passengers and they want to complain they can get their own car My advice if you get one keep it as I see these things becoming what 90’s civics used to be fun efficient but maybe not reliability not sure about that part yet
