Used 2017 Ford F-250 Super Duty SuperCab Consumer Reviews
2017 F250 XLT Nice Truck
Great truck so far. I’ve owned it 9 months. I purchased the dark magnetic grey with the 6.2 gas. Gets lots of looks and it runs strong :)

Comfortable Daily Driver Able Body Workhorse
Purchased this vehicle used with 60k on the clock.. 6.2 gas model that the previous owner had used to tow a RV. He had taken good care of her services records indicated only basic maintenance and no major issues. At 70k I experienced a check engine light which was diagnosed as a misfire on several cylinders. I’m currently traveling around this beautiful country of ours, towing a 12k # fifth wheel, so I replaced all 16 plugs, 8 coil packs, wires and air filter. Glad I did. Noticeable increase in power and my towing mpg also increased. When not towing, this truck is very comfortable and enjoyable to drive. It’s easy to park and the only negative I can comment on are the rear doors on the Supercab, which open opposite the front doors, can sometimes be a challenge in parking spaces, when you need to load groceries, I’m hoping to get many more years of service from this truck.

Constant EGR repair on 2017 F250
We bought this beautiful truck new. It's been in the dealership multiple times, because the check engine light comes on. The dealership says it's the EGR and replaces it. The truck will run nicely for maybe 3 months before the check engine light comes on again. Many times when the light comes on the top speed will be between 40 and 12 mph. This happens at some of the most inconvenient times. Thankfully, I bought an extended warranty, and I don't pay for these repairs. I'm no longer confident with this truck. I pull a 40 ft fifth wheel, and I dread the day I'm out of state or town, and the check engine light comes on again. I had a 2008 before trading it in on the 2017. The 2008 did the death wobble and slowed or totally stopped in 3 lanes of traffic once.

2017 F250 SD is a decent truck so far
I bought my 2017 F250 used with 41,106 miles on it in December of 2021. Only thing I have to say is the gas mileage is not Great but, you have to expect that it's a 6.2 gasoline. I really like the Truck. Only issue I had so far is a VTT solenoid vale went out of it the seal it's in went bad and was causing a misfire. Cost me a new set of Plugs(16) + parts VTT Solenoid, Seal and Valve Cover Gasket, Located under Valve Cover. + Laber Total $1200.00 Buy Plugs @ a parts store / not Dealership ,very Expensive. Over all Good Truck ... I Like the Truck!!! Take care of it, will last!!

Great Truck, pulls anything
I have enjoyed by F250 Supercab, very roomy, use it for my golf clubs also but is a great work truck. I put 2023 Ford black wheels on it, looks like a new truck. No service issues with the V8, brakes after 80,000.
