75,000 miles and the timing chain needs to be replaced. And Fords won't help with the bill. No more Fords in this house

Great truck. Roomy. Powerful. Great for carrying and hauling things. Lousy for carrying my 2 German Shepherd dogs in the back seat area. The back outdoor bed might be ok for very short distances and the dogs were secured properly and safely. Gas mileage totally sucks! 15 mpg is the most to wish for. 14 is more realistic. 13 is the average.

'13 F-150 Crew 4X4 Eco-boost V6, all at 15K service: The rotors had to be turned due to vibration on braking. After never hitting anything that would cause the alignment to be out of spec, the alignment cost me nearly $500 (for a camber kit installation) because the factory equip. could not be adjusted to the proper correction. Driver outside door handle must be replaced - have to pull twice to open. Driver door molding/seal replaced A/C not cold in hot weather. SYNC sucks Occasional power hesitation on start from stop-sign Various rattles within the cabin Heat-recirc. turns off after 5 min in winter

I have also been a V8 guy, and when I purchased my used 2013 Ford F150 Extended cab 4x4 pick up with the Eco Boost V6 I was happily surprised. It gets great gas milage and has the power at the wheels when it is needed.

Just traded off my 2013 F 150 Eco Boost for a Toyota. Front brake caliper replaced under warranty at about 25k. Since you cannot do one side, I had to pay for the other side. At about 45k battery completely died leaving me stranded. At 50 k, speed sensor failed and almost caused an accident while driving into traffic. Shortly thereafter, the cam oil phasers failed causing loud rattling of engine on cold starts. That was the timing chain. Phasers are a dealer item and a $2700 repair. Also there was a suspension problem requiring front end repair. Also had to replace front brakes again. 3 sets of brakes at 55 k? Ford builds pure junk.
