Used 1994 Ford F-150 Consumer Reviews
Ford F150
The engine runs like new - I replaced the air intake manifold gasket at approx. 150K & the crankcase oil pan gasket once at approx. 200K. The front brakes must have been designed for the festiva - I had to purchase rotors way to often! My transmission was rebuilt around 150K. The torque converter sent a hard to find vibration through my truck at around 75K that was a Ford problem - Ford actually issued a service bulletin for this. Overall a great truck! I should have purchased (2) - it was ~$13K new.
Good Old Boy with 178,000 miles!
Bought this vehicle from a dealer that marked it "salvage only" on the bill of sale. Clutch was rough but overall this was a runner. I put a new clutch in it a few months after purchase (easy job!), rebuilt the brakes, and added new tires. This old 5 liter V8 runs great, uses a little oil but leaks considerably from front and rear mains. If it didn't run so darned good I'd have it rebuilt. Never see a used lower mileage 5 liter for sale.

The truck is falling apart !
I have put about $2,000 into this truck after paying $2,000 for it.
1 Tuff Ford
Bought this truck new. I still own and drive it daily. It has performed above my expectations. For a American vehicle that was built in a era when American vehicles had very poor qualty and performance this is 1 bad truck. My truck still looks great and turns heads. It performs strong and just like that old timex watch it takes a liken and stlll ticking. The only work done to this truck was a transmission overhaul and a water pump. For 15 years not bad. I would buy it again.
Big Red Truck
Have had truck one year, was a one- owner non-work truck w/ 99K. Beautiful fire engine Red really stands out. Have only driven it 2000 miles but have really enjoyed. Strong 5.0 V-8 never waivers. Roomy cab comfortable. Nice factory mags. Imposing front grill. Have added Flowmasters, oversized tires, upscale Leonard shell, bullbar, steps. Looks great and is very muscular when time to work.
