Used 1994 Ford F-150 Consumer Reviews
It's a workhorse and looks good too!
I needed a truck to use for installing doors and windows (before being layed off anyway).I needed a long bed, but really wanted the extended cab too, so it's not as comfortable as I would like since I've got pretty long legs. There's just no way to get the seat all the way back and recline the seat at the same time. With a camper top, it's become very practical.
Review 1994 Ford F-150
I bought my Ford F-150 XL SB from my Dad 4 years ago. It had 111K on it. I had a brand new Jeep Cherokee and sold it to buy my Dad's. It was very clean and was finally broken in for me. My Dad bought a new 2002 Ford F-150 thinking the 1994 had too many miles to do any traveling. After driving his 2002 for a couple of months, he wanted his old one back. Sorry Dad, I waited 9 years to get this one!

Rust bucket
Bought it new and love it except that it is falling apart around me. The frame and under carriage is almost gone. I wish they used better steel.
Review
I take very good care of this truck as it my only transportation. I have replaced: 4 fan belts and tensioners, power steering unit, master cylinder twice, brakes twice, radiator, front gas tank, emergency brake cables twice, tires 4 times, tie rods, wind shield, wiper blades twice, tail pipe clamp twice, radio, front end alinement twice, various lamps, bolts, hoses, etc. I change oil and filter every 2 months, air filter every 6 months, and check tire pressure frequently.
Has problems
I have had nothing but problems in the 75k I put on. I brought it in 11 times in the first 36k miles for everything from a speaker going out to the rear end making noise between 75-80mph (3 trips and still was never fixed). Replaced tranny at 65k. Front brake rotors were warped when I drove it home from dealer, now on 3rd set. Starter replaced. Screws are failing out of the molding, and the drivers door doesn't seal tight anymore. More little things then I can mention.
