2025 Ford Explorer Consumer Reviews

Unsafe Unreliable Features
The vehicle is beautiful. Great massage seats. However, the dashboard and touchscreen black out or freeze while driving, starting up or parked. Started after one month. Now it's up to 4-5 times a week. I've had this car 3 months. Long term there are potential problems. It's not resolved and Ford is overwhelmed with the amount of vehicles with the same issues. It will take 4-5 weeks to fix and no loaner vehicle has been offered. All buyers should be aware.

Luxury on a budget
I knew I would love my Explorer from the moment I got behind the wheel—just like I did every time I rented one in the past! Now that I own a 2025 Explorer, I can confidently say it exceeds my expectations in every way. The quality is absolutely top-notch, and transitioning from my 2023 Escape, the difference is night and day. The ride is smooth, the handling is sharp, and the power? Wow—this thing moves! For being an Active trim level, my Explorer feels incredibly well-equipped, with features that make every drive enjoyable and convenient. I have the leather interior and sunroof in mine, and they make the experience even better—premium comfort and an open, airy feel that makes every drive a pleasure. The comfort, tech, and overall driving experience are simply next level. Whether I’m cruising on the highway or tackling city streets, it delivers a perfect balance of performance and refinement. Ford absolutely nailed it with this one—5 stars all the way! If you’re considering an SUV, do yourself a favor and check out the 2025 Explorer. You won’t be disappointed! 🚙💨

Early Review of 2025 Ford Explorer
We have enjoyed the 2025 Ford Explorer for almost a month at this point in time. We have never been a fan of ambient lighting (AL), but haven't driven much at night yet. It is easier to dim the AL in the Explorer than in our previous car. Also, haven't yet had opportunity to ride in the 2nd row and 3rd row seats. The trim level pick list doesn't list a Platinum 4dr SUV AWD (3.0L 6cyl turbo) which the 2025 Explorer is. That same engine was available in the 2024 Explorer so the pick list is out of date somewhat.

Love my 2025 Ford Explorer ST
I test drove most of Ford Explorer competitors and immediately felt like I had come home when I slipped behind the wheel and test drove the 2025 Ford Explorer ST. The interior is very comfortable and controls are easy to use. I like the classy style, comfortable drive and interior space.
