Love my ST!
I love the car! Had a 2020 ST Explorer I had issues with the 360 camera and the bigger screen so I got the smaller screen on my 2023 ST Explorer. No issues with anything what so ever. Love all the features, it’s so comfortable and fast!

2023 Explorer Timberline
I purchased this Timberline a couple of days before Christmas 2024, so I'm still getting used to it. I traded in a 2017 Ford Edge Sport. The Edge was an excellent car, with plenty of power, quiet ride, and fully loaded. The Explorer Timberline is not a fully loaded trim package, so I'm getting used to not having some of the extras that I had grown accustomed to. That being said, the Timberline has a 2.3L 4-cylinder engine that provides ample power and does not require premium fuel. The 10-speed transmission is usually smooth and unobtrusive. You will never mistake the 4 cylinder for a V6 given the sound, but I am generally happy with the powertrain. The exterior color of my Explorer is the forest green. I'm still on the fence with the color. In some light it looks almost black. I had seen blue Timberlines, and I think I prefer that color, but Ford only offers green interiors on the Timberlines, regardless of exterior color, so I went with the green exterior to match the interior. Other key features of the Timberline trim include suspension taken from the Police Interceptor package and a limited slip rear differential. I really like both of these features, and the ride does not seem to suffer, even with the all terrain tires. The interior is reasonably quiet at highway speeds. The B&O sound system has me a bit perplexed, as I swear the Sony sound system in my Edge sounded better. I chose the Timberline trim over the XLT or Limited trims due to the different suspension and limited slip rear differential. I chose it over the ST trim because I cannot stand the dash and large tablet-looking screen in the middle in the ST (and the Platinum). Time will tell if I continue to enjoy the Timberline, or if I upgrade to an ST in a couple of years when the 2025 models are more affordable as used offerings.

New Ford Fun
Ford Explorers speak for themselves, the configuration of the vehicle has changed somewhat from our 2018 Limited, but Ford has definitely upgraded the driver monitoring systems and displays. Vehicle also offers a very smooth ride with great acceleration! Exterior is easy to maintain.
