Ford Girl Forever!
I bought this vehicle in February in 2008. It's a 1995 so I was expecting to have to fix some minor things but suprisingly all I had to do was get new tires and a new battery and I was fine. It now has 232,000 miles on it and its still running great! Its my perfect off roading and every day vehicle. I only drive Ford and I love this SUV!
Gail's Explorer
This automobile has been very reliable in that it has not left us down on the road. There have however, been two major problems with the front brakes. One in which the right front disc cracked requiring all new brake replacement. In another instance the front brakes have lasted perhaps one year before replacement was required. Because of the fixed rear suspension system the ride it not comfortabe on rough roads.

Great Ford Experience
This vehicle has been a dream since I bought it. It is comfortable on long drives, great for short halls and very flexible when needed. The vehicle has never let me down and I have always paid attention to the little things regarding basic maintenance. As a result, I think the car has rewarded me with no major repairs. The most costly repair was the CD changer and radio.
Excellent Ford Truck
AS long as Ford makes trucks like this Explorer I will NEVER buy foreign vehicles!!!!
Transmission
There is no option for me to list my model. It is a 1995 Ford Explorer XLT 4.0L 4x4 V6 with automatic transmission. Transmission is junk in this vehicle--goes way too premature in the life of the vehicle no matter if you have driven on or off the road. Ford is getting ready to have a lawsuit slapped on them if they do not accept my request for a goodwill repair.
