A Great Vehicle
I know I'll be kicking myself for selling a perfectly fine running automobile! Just the normal maintenance. I always used castrol syntec, never was stranded and it always ran and performed very well and still does. Will make new owner very happy. Very good handeling and lots of interior hauling capacity.
100,000 Miles and still going strong!
I have a '95 Ford Explorer XLT that recently passed the 100,000 mile mark. I'm happy to say that it's still in great shape and still going strong. I did have to replace the power steering system recently, but other than that, it's been a great SUV. This is one Ford that lives up to it's motto...it's built Ford Tough!

My 1995 Explorer has over 260000 miles
Never burns oil. Only major problem-replaced transmission at 220000 and that is ok with me. Still looks good.
Reliable for 8 Years and counting
Our explorer has been very reliable and provides plenty of room for our family, our dogs, supplies, four sets of golf clubs and trips to visit relatives. Only complaints are the tire wear, its a bit sluggish from stop and some minor electrical annoyances. Overall, I am pleased.
Moose Insurance
We bought this SUV when we were stationed in Fairbanks in '95 and got rid of a Previa that we liked a lot. There were 3 factors in our decision. Our sponsors informed us that collisions with moose were a real concern and one had a much better chance in an SUV than in a Previa. With snow and ice 6 months a year the 4WD seemed like a necessity and we had a $1000 credit on our Ford Credit card. Remember them? It was a very good vehicle for the five of us though a little crowded when we were all together. It never let us down and with studded tires it handled the snow great.
