2024 Ford Expedition Consumer Reviews

Perfect for cargo and comfort
I own an entertainment company and need quite a bit of storage space for speakers and equipment. I shopped extensively to find the right vehicle. I like the 4Runner, but it was too boxy and trick-like. I really liked the Tahoe and Suburban, but they were much more expensive, less gas mileage, and the engine reliability ratings scared me away. I found a good deal on a pre-owned 2022 Ford Expedition Limited with the Stealth package, and it has everything I could want! It’s trimmed out like a limmo with comfortable leather seats (heated and cooled), the massive touch screen is awesome, and it drives really smoothly and quietly for a huge vehicle. One piece of advice- if you’re shopping pre-owned, make sure you take a test drive. Some of the used Expeditions I drove felt beat up and looser handling and like the suspension was worn out.

Mild Design issue’s need addressing
Lots of little design flaws There is a seem (panels meeting) over rear doors. All the roof water drains down door and freezes solid so you cannot use the door. The fuel filler where you insert the gas fill is plastic and pliable, most likely to break The front bumper is not very well attached/supported and fills with ice The front door when you open the door, inside by the a post is uncovered and collects snow/ice and binds with ice locking the door Ice collects on the running board step and cannot open the door. The vehicle drives well. Just some mild design issues for them to address

I like it.
The size of the 3rd row seating is big enough so that adults can sit in them comfortably. The car is very safe and if you are ever in a wreck you will walk away from it as I’ve had this happen to me about 10 years ago. I like the size of the car but the gas mileage is a little bit too low but it is what it is.

Comfy Seats
The seats in our 2024 Expedition XLT are more comfortable and supportive than my 2023 Suburban LT. MPG is 21.4 so far for combined hwy and city driving. Lots of room in the second row. The only negative I have is the ride is a little bumpy on uneven roads, but that may be corrected when we replace the tires. Overall, a great purchase.
