trailer hauler/people mover
So far reliable. 1 Firestone failure. Pulls a 9000 trailer very well getting 12-13 mpg. Gets 20 mpg+ without trailer with optional diesel. Will travel over 850 miles per 44 gal tank. Noisy outside but economy makes it worth it. Truck based, ride is harsh on bumps. 3.73 rear axle is right.
2002 EXCURSION LIMITED
I pull a 25 foot Airstream with my Ex. Acceleration and braking are excellent while towing. I like the idea of sitting up high and over-looking the traffic ahead. The overall ride is very good and the extra room inside my rig is great. This SUV is not for everyone, but it is perfect for my family.

MOM NEEDED MORE ROOM
This the best suv I have ever driven. Love the Excursion, would definitly buy another. We are a family of 5 and all are tall. Has the most enormous amount of space and leg room. Traveling is great again... Wouldn't buy any other
The Beast
The Beast is a pleasure to drive. Its a vehicle that demands respect everywhere you go. Other cars move out of the way especially on the highway. I bought the Beast to carry my four kids in. I took a drive to Disneyland as well as Mexico, and it gave me an average of 15 miles a gallon at speeds of 80-85. I bought the 7.3 Liter diesel. No smogging to do and I've been told the engines last a long time.
Great Truck
41000 miles and not one single problem.Never been back to the dealer since purchased.Great truck for the money
