Purchased this car brand new. It was ordered for delivery. Delivery was almost 2 months past it’s delivery date. It Was originally supposed to be delivered October 28th but didn’t receive it Until a week before New Years. Clearly it failed inspections before it was released to us. Very poorly assembled in the end. And full of problems. Starting with when we picked up after it was trailered in. The key fob was apparently not paired properly and was not responding. They couldn’t do much at the dealership so we had to scheduled for a technician to come out and go over again. Once they corrected that. The remote start feature was not working. We brought it home and waited for the dealer to help us schedule service again from another Ford technician. That technician never came out but luckily the dealership hired a service technician that knew how to dive into the problem. He solved it. When driving the safety lights on the passenger side that warn you not to merge right because there is a car next to you keep going on randomly. With no car person or item on that side of the vehicle. Going to a drive through and pushing the window down button is quite embarrassing. It sounds like nails on a chalkboard. Ford has looked at it and said we have seen this and we greased it. Problem is the same. Backing up. It groans. Placing it in park and making sure the parking brake is engaged. It drops hard on itself if it’s in a slight up or down hill. When driving in electric it is nice and quiet but when it switches to gas. It sounds like a Semi engine breaking. We turn the radio up so we can’t hear it. Passenger door will not properly close. We have taken it in and the service manager has pretty much told us to get over it because it’s like that in all escapes. So we make sure to slam it to catch close. But now when we close. It won’t lock properly. All other doors do but not the passenger side. No Apple Car Play for a car this new? Or Android? You must plug in. Even then it’s extremely slow to respond and connect. The GPS software is also in need of attention. Only gave it two stars because I was reminded that it has gets great gas mileage. And it’s not the horrible RAV4. My Hyundai Tucson Hybrid may have set the bar too high for us
