Used 2007 Ford Edge Consumer Reviews
Best Car Ever
I bought my 2007 Edge SE in September 2007. It is now April 2023 and I still love my Edge. It has 217,000 miles and has never had a major repair needed. It has always been very comfortable to drive. I just bought a new car but it is hard to give up my 15.5 year old Edge.

Love this crossover!
I have owned my Edge for over a year now and love it! I went from a 2 door Explorer Sport to the Edge SEL and am very pleased with my purchase. This is my everyday drive and I average at least 22 mpg - better than the 16 I was getting with the explorer. We had a few good snows last winter and I had zero problems getting around and boy does the heater work! Over the summer the AC was able to keep up with the Kansas heat and humidity. The interior is roomy - two adults + two teens is not cramped. Has more get up and go than the explorer so passing us not an issue. Would have liked the auto lift gate but fro the $, the 07 was best for us.
Ford Catches Up
This is the first U.S car that I have owned that equals Honda in quality. It is a safe car, with good handling and a good ride.
Best vehicle I ever owned
I've had the vehicle for about a month now. The comfort is fantastic. It rides so smooth. The sliding top window is so large and really great!! I have always been a GM man and never again will I waist my time with a GM product. I now have 2 fords and wish I could afford another Edge. This is simply a great vehicle. I really love the GPS system, a lot better that a Garmin. The sound system is great also. I love everything about the vehicle.
Great Vehicle!!! First Ford Ever Owned!!
We recently purchased our Edge and couldnt be happier. We are averaging what i feel to be a good mpg of 20+ mpgs with close to 50/50 mixed driving and a wife who has a lead foot. Family feels extremely safe inside our Edge and has more room than they know what to do with. First Ford vehicle either of us has owned and we just might be owning more in the future. Very Happy Ford, Keep up the great work!
Oh what bad MPG this gets!!
Well lets just say it won't be winning any awards for gas consumption. I love the look and the comfort of the edge. We have nav and the whole 9 yards but it such bad gas mileage it sits in the yard a lot and we take the Camry. Too bad.
Nice look, high mileage means shop time
I like how the car looks and it's a relatively comfortable drive except for the forward slanting head rest. I purchased the car about 10 months ago with 145k miles. I now have 188k. I've had replace the fuel pump, some spark plugs and coils, the AC fan. Spent around $3k on repairs. In the end, you get what you pay for.

Beyond my expectations!
I wanted an AWD/4WD vehicle, but was tired of driving a truck. I love the vista roof--the safer alternative to a convertible. I love the acceleration and the ride. The exterior gives it kind of a "mean" appearance and demands a second look from everyone I pass. In different light the Pewter color sometimes looks Silver, baby blue or a pretty pale green. The 18 inch chrome wheels, Pewter paint, and black leather interior have people staring at this car everywhere I go and I've heard nothing but compliments. A recent 2000 mile road trip produced 30mpg at 45, 27 at 55, and 24-25 at 65-70mph. Not bad considering some of this was through the PA mountains. No recalls, rattles or problems.
