Almost 3 tons of fun
This car is large yet nimble and the performance police interceptor is fun to drive. got no problems passing people on the freeway, this is where she likes to stretch those legs. The cost for repairs is pretty cheap for a 2010 which I haven't had to do other then the blower motor easy to work on. To much to list about why I am happy with this car all I have to say is full frame and rear wheel drive, what else could you ask for.

Happy owner.
This is a full size car, there fore your friends and family who own small cars will call on you to drive when there is more than two in the group. At the same time calling your deficient sized vehicle a "land yacht", a "tank",a "barge",a"boat" while the four of them sit in comfort saying that they hardly ever have to put gas in their car. I guess not, because they are always in my Crown Vic.

The Car that saved my life
So on a whim after my 2007 Chevrolet HHR bit the dust after a collision, I was looking for something with a V8 engine and with good looks to boot. Low and behold I found the perfect car at a local dealer lot, a 2010 Ford Crown Victoria Police Cruiser with only 123,000 on the clock in pristine condition for the age. Satisfied with my purchase I took it home and realized that I was living a childhood dream of mine by owning a Crown Vic. The ride was a bit rough (slightly lifted suspension makes the car ride like a truck) and the steering felt heavy and felt more like a point and drive sort of situation (akin to a boat). The engine was fast...ish, and was decently adequate for around town driving but shined during highway stints, but this thing had a massive stopping issue (brake was soft and stopping 2 tons of steel from moving is difficult) and the transmission really felt sluggish and dated (it eventually broke down at 138000 miles). Well low and behold about 9 months in and as I was driving home, I struck a utility trailer and ultimately destroyed my giant cop car. The amount of space between me and the car in front of me and the quick deployment of the airbag ultimately stopped me from being injured at all and showed how strongly built and overengineered these massive road boats were back in the late 2000's. Ultimately I didn't own the car long, but I would highly recommend this car to anyone who wants a stylish body on frame sedan from a bygone era with a reliable engine and a bit of attitude, I can't recommend a Ford Crown Vic enough.

Bullet proof machine
I recently bought a 2010 crown Vic Police interceptor back in April. My crown Vic has lived a hard life. Being a police vehicle from 2010-2013 and used as a taxi from 2013-2022 got it on Facebook marketplace for $1400 and I bought it with 394,000 miles. Now I’m September 2022 I took it on 3, 7 hour road trips and had no issues at all and the vehicle currently is at 401,000 miles. It’s super comfortable inside. Feel like I’m sitting on a couch and is a amazing daily driver for me, my friends love mine so much they’re thinking of purchasing one for themselves after they drive mine. I wish ford didn’t discontinue these vehicles, there super reliable and not bad on gas with the flex fuel. I love mine so much and it’s in such good running condition I have tons of hope she’ll make it too 600,000 miles. I always change the oil every 3000 miles. Taking care of things the right way goes a long way
Favorite car.
I've had my 2010 CVPI for a little over a year now and have put almost 10k miles on it. It handles like a dream. Not really had any issues with it other than my driver seat recline motor doesn't work but it hasn't worked since I bought the car. Also I have a rear suspension squeak which I can't seem to figure out what it is but I haven't seen any other ones with this issue. In the snow and rain it's not the best but if you know you're doing you'll be fine. But It's probably my favorite car that I've driven. If you're going to buy one make sure the trans is in good condition or be ready for a rebuild. The intake manifold is known for cracking but fairly easy to replace. Last, the blend door actuator is known for failing. Easy to work on just do your maintenance
