2002 Dodge Viper ACR
Had the ACR for one week. So far so good. Drives very fast with poor gas mileage. Turns heads everywhere. Slightly uncomfortable race-like ride, but that is expected.

the best
Still the most desired car I've ever wanted.
I've been dreaming of owning this car since it came out when I was in high school. Back then I had a Dodge Stealth RT/TT. This is truly a timeless classic car that did not disappoint. After a few hundred miles it's an absolute monster. Its brutal clutch pedal, brakes, runs hot, hates going slow, traffic or around stop and go town/city driving. It's a lot to handle on the street but its everything i expected it to be. Buying a 22 year old Dodge will have its problems. rubbers are worn. Plastics will fail and some maintenance will be required. But fear not the Viper community knows how to keep these snakes in top running order and most maintenance can be done yourself with some DIY videos. Highly recommend owning this timeliness piece of American automotive history. I plan on keeping this car for a long time. Yes its dangerous and my advice is to get new tires and stickier the better. I went with Nitto NT555r2 drag radials on rears. They hook like crazy when warm.

What a car!
It is rare to find a car that is as much fun to drive four thousand miles later as you thought it would be the first time you saw it. This car just gets better and better. I was afraid I might have some problems with it, but it has run like a top. I can't say enough about how much I love this car! This is clearly not the car for everyone, but it is certainly the car for me.
