Excellent middle of the road car
Realize that this is not a performance car, so performance gets an "average." Comfort-wise, the seats are cushy, and the steering wheel feels good--not cheap. Fun to drive? Not particularly. Interior is well thought out, very simple. The styling of the exterior is pleasing to my eye, especially the shorter windows. It has a kind of "meaner" look to it than its predecessor. As for reliability, it always starts up as soon as the key is turned--no delays. I've never had a problem with my 1999 Stratus, and I sure don't expect to have too many problems with this one.
Outstanding
What a great car - I have never been as happy with a purchase as I am with my Stratus. It's powerful and fun to drive and has more room than most other sedans, esp. in back seat and cargo areas.
new RT 2003
love the car. i drove a 92 chevy corsica for 10 years...so this is great. I've only had the car for about a month, but i've had a lot of compliments. I have never seen another 4 dr R/T on the road though. Not as quick as I'd though it would be, but it handles better than I thought. One complaint is that there are only 4 color options
Lovin' It
I am so in love with my car. I've owned three other vehicles since I've been driving and my Stratus is the most enjoyable for both style and reliability. Dodge, keep doing what you do.
Kira the Killer
I bought this car used because it was such a great deal compared to other cars. It has been very dependable, and is overall a wonderful car to own. This is the 2.4 liter SXT model. I would really recommend this car to anyone on a budget. Just remember to buy from a private party.
