Used 2009 Dodge Ram Pickup 3500 Consumer Reviews
2008 2500 Ram 6.7
Had a 2003 2500 SLT 5.9 turbo diesel 21 mpg and went with the 2500 Laramie 6.7 diesel 16 mpg not to good for a diesel, be nice to have the shifter button on the steering wheel also with the exhaust brake. Overall the truck is very quiet. Laramie package is a must! Dodge make better cup holders. Improve fuel economy.
Piece of Junk
I loved this truck when I bought it, but I would never buy another one or recommend it to anyone. The truck has been in the shop more than 12 times for the engine light. We tried to file lemon law, but since it's different parts replaced each time it doesn't qualify. Buyer beware. Chrysler does not stand behind their product. This truck has caused our business to lose a lot of money in one year as we haul horses as a job. We have been left on the road and unable to meet our customers request. I will never buy another dodge vehicle. It's my understanding that many people have the same issue. Wake up Dodge!

Cummins lover!
While many have been experienced low fuel economy i do very well. I drive 60 mph and am able to consistently get 21-23 mpg on the freeway at those speeds, hand calculated! Ive only had my truck two months but i have put 8000 miles on it during that time. I really don't like the seats though, might take them to a specialty seat place and have them make them more comfortable. As long as you go slow with the new 6.7 L cummins it is a great motor. Don't buy from Broadway dodge they have horrible service.
love it
just bought it a week ago...had 2 1500's with the Hemi...but had to rev the hell out of it to get any power while towing to stay at 110km/hr. and the fuel mileage was 7-10MPG...now i can tow anything with 15-19MPG...towed 8000LBS with 15 MPG and climbed every hill with ease. I just plain like driving it all day.
Still running like a watch!
My last review was when my truck only had 3800 miles. I now have 40k on the odometer and nothing has changed, (with the exception of a repaired fender because of a hit and run at the Palm Beach Gardens Mall!). Truck still runs like a watch and I've pulled my 6x12 enclosed trailer with 3 full dressed HD's, my friends 30' Wellcraft and a broke down Suburban (with a loaded 6x12 UHaul trailer attached) without issue. This truck is a workhorse that has yet to give me one problem. I do admit I should have bought a 2500 (hint to Dodge if you have a left over 2010 you want to trade me into) but the Mega Cab rocks!
