PROS: Throaty V6, sporty exhaust, 3rd row, AWD, roof rack, towing capability, comfy like caravan just lower roof height, but nice and wide for hip and elbow room, Spare tire mounted outside of vehicle underneath where it should be to maximize interior cargo space. CONS: European styling caused front end to have way to much plastic and I do not like the dodge intrepid placement of the battery in the front bumper outside of the engine compartment. No front footwell lights, but has lights in door.

2017 nightmare

2017 Dodge Journey SE 4dr SUV (2.4L 4cyl 4A)

I purchased my 2017 Dodge Journey in January 2017. The trunk space is small to none. It doesn't come with bluetooth or a navigation system. Today(02/10/19) I went outside and it will not start. I tried to give it a jump and that wouldn't work either. It's basically brand new so I'm not sure what it could be.

2017 Dodge Journey Crossroad Plus 4dr SUV AWD (3.6L 6cyl 6A)

To begin with I don't put a lot of miles on my car since I retired. I have the 6 cylinder crossroad with awd. It handles great, and the 4 wheel drive makes cornering good. The seats are not as comfortable as in my wife's car but on the other hand I can feel comfortable longer in the Journey seats than her more expensive Morano. Love the storage spaces, and even though it is not the fastest car I have owned or the most plus...I love. Cons, not the easiest to get into because of its height being awd. Have had a couple of older friends that had trouble with the height, but easy for them to get out. But like I say I have only put about 7000 miles on since I bought it, I also drive my older dodge pickup.

The Dodge Journey is a hot alternative to a mini-van! The GT has a lot of power and smooth riding!

My 1st suv for my growing family i wanted to occasionally drive 7 family members and have optional lay flat seats for carrying stuff from home depot without an expensive price tag. Bought it for 16,000$ in 2017 10, 000 miles and I have a flex fuel gas station so save .50 cents on gallon everytime i top up. 80,000 miles so far has never given me any problems in 4 years. Great 1st time suv for someone thats young just starting out. Maybe in 5 years will be able to afford a more luxury suv but for now its good bang for the buck.
