Used 2018 Dodge Grand Caravan Consumer Reviews
Excellent simple comfort and utility
I need a lot of legroom which is the primary reason I chose to consider this minivan. With the seat all the way back, my son or daughter in the second row behind me also have enough legroom. Unlike others who choose to buy a value priced vehicle then complain that it does not have enough technology, I do not want to pay for the touchscreen, blindspot check, cameras around the car. So I got what I paid for and love it. Incredibly comfortable with its 8 way and lumbar support drivers seat, substantial engine horsepower, separate heating controls for the driver, passenger and rear rows, are all features that I enjoy with my SXT trim. Loading it up to fix houses is unbeatable. Towing Capacity is great and even roof racks built in. It’s my second Grand Caravan of this generation. I currently have 56K miles on it and it’s been very reliable; I never worry when driving it. It’s not a cool car but it has way more utility than a so called sport utility vehicle.

Put 96k miles on my 2017 and getiing a 2019
I like the Grand Caravan for the comfort and versatility. I put about 33,000 miles a year on my van. My 2017 only needed a battery and one set of tires and brakes over 96,000 miles of highway driving. Just ordered a black 2019 SXT. With the chrome trim it looks like a limo!

Love this van!
Purchased my '17 Grand Caravan GT over 2 years ago for 30% off and have been happy with it ever since. I have racked up 49,000 kms with zero issues. Fuel economy is outstanding as I average 7.5L/100 km(31 mpg I think) on the highway during the trips to the cottage in the summer months(as long as I watch my rpms) The kids really enjoy the DVD player as well as the power doors. With dedicated winter tires, the van is a beast in the snow, thought fuel mileage suffers a little bit, which is of course expected. Other than that I've got no complaints....

Transmission Timebomb!!
Stay away! Transmission blew at 89,000 miles requiring a total replacement. Dealer charged us $5,100 to replace. Unacceptable for a car that was 4.5 years old and just transported kids to school and baseball games.
Underrated
Bought a used Grand Caravan GT, a former rental fleet vehicle. So far this van has exceeded each and every expectation. Smart design, powerful drivetrain, best in class stow and go seats and a comfortable cabin. All for 10k less than the competition. Pound for pound and dollar for dollar this may the top vehicle in production for the 2018 model year. Its that good.
