Used 1999 Chrysler Town and Country Consumer Reviews
Best Car I've Owned except transmission
I bought this car when I saw a private seller park it in a shopping center. I drove it and loved it. It is the most comfortable car I have ever had. I am 6'5" and don't fit in most cars these days. This one is a joy to drive, first class all the way. I wish they had the transmission worked out, I'm on the third one.
A terrrific first van experience
I leased this 1999 FWD LX with the upgraded 3.8 L engine, upgraded sound system, dual A/C & Heating, upgraded tires, etc. and after my 3 years were up this past February, I was so impressed that I purchased it at the end of the lease. Except for recently replacing the tires after 50,000 miles, I have not had this van in the shop once except for routine oil changes/tire rotations. I could not imagine a more smooth and roomy ride in a van. I was considering the Honda Odyssey back then but I am so thrilled that I made the decision for the T&C.

I love getting into this van and driving it. It feels very nice and well put together.
Excellent Vehicle
I bought the van used with 69000 miles. Almost three years later it has 126000 miles. No problems other than normal maintenance, brakes, etc. I receive many compliments from family and friends about the style and comfort on long trips. Best looking van on the highway.
Can not do this again
After 32,000 miles I have never spent so much time in a service department. Starting with brake problems within 3 months and continuing with this problem on and off for 2 years. Brakes pulling and leaking fluid. Brakes pads changed twice a year. Transmission electronic device going out.(car not shifting gears).
