A Lot of a Little Car
I have had the opportunity to purchase a dealer demo. I was really against buying a 4 cyl for many years, however, this one is not a dissappointment. My first road trip to Kentucky with it was a real nice ride, and economical. I hightly reccommend this one for any kind of traveler with a budget that has to be met. The trunk can fit everything, including the kitchen sink!
Great car for the money
This is a very capable car. It has enough power to drive fast, gas mileage is excellent, comfortable. just had a 6 hours trip and it was very smooth (thanks to cruise control). overall great value.

Excellence without the high price
This car has been highly reliable and has excellent value without the high price. I enjoy driving it. It has fun colors to choose from and comes with standard features that one would need who doesnt drive far.
Sharp car
I love the car, color is inferno red, I got it loaded and has all the options and cost a whole lot less than the the so called foreign competitors. This is my 1st chrysler and I got the works. At this point I really like this car.
Sexy and Sporty
This vehicle drives like a dream, lots of get up and go. Sleek design turns heads. Great stereo sound system. I love it!!!
early post
After many years of having smaller cars its nice to have that larrger car feel.Back in the 70s had some dodges and was satisfied with performance, ride and handling.Owned this chrysler sebring sedan only 1mo so not much to comment on yet.Am so far satisfied with ride and styling. Will be reading other posts and report back later.
loven it
Very fast for a 4 door. Great on fuel if you keep your foot out of the pedal. price to fun ratio is high as well.
a real looker
overall quite pleased.Has nice ride nice sound system roomy trunk. Nice dash layout.
Lemon
I've had this car less than two years and have replaced many parts. So far I've replaced all new rotors, brakes, 9 headlights, 2 turn signals, 2 brake lights, and fan control. I just found out I need new shocks now, and the list goes on. In all the years I have been driving I have never had a problem car like this. All my friends also say they have had issues with their Sebring's. I'm going straight to a Honda dealership to get a real car.
Chrysler is Up and Coming
After driving Ford for several years, my husband and I decided on a Chrysler product. And to find Chrysler has out done the others in many ways. Other items that cost extra on other cars, come standard on the Chrysler. And not only fun to drive, the 2004 Sebring LXI is a very comfortable car, with the V6 it has enough get up, one would think it had 8 cylinders under that hood.
Value
A lot of car for under $16,000. AND GOOD ON GAS.
I love this car
This is the most comfortable and easy to drive vehicle I have ever driven. I have driven a number of different cars but the Sebring is by far the best.
I love my Sebring
My Sebring offers me the comfort and comparability of the foreign lines of similar make (ie. camery or taurus) without the hefty price point. Its resale is lower than the caparable vehicles but I plan on driving mine until there is little left of it.
I miss my Chrysler
The car was awesome. No complaints at all. For some reason, I traded in for an SUV. Boy, do I miss this car! I am still kicking myself in the head for trading it in!
04sebring
Bought my Sebring used with 1800 miles on it at a great value. It's been only a few weeks, but so far so good. Bought it due to job change and lots of increased miles, and had to get better gas mileage than with my Explorer. I'm getting 25-26 mph, which works for me. And the styling is cool. Not much headroom, and the controls and console features aren't readily within reach.
The best of the best
It Has been a complete joy to drive this vehical over the years. The style and comfort is un matched
sweet ride
This is my fourth Chrysler. I have also had a Toyota, a Chevy, and a Lincoln, but the Chryslers have been the most reliable vehicles I have owned.
great car for the value
great gas mileage good performance
Sexy Look
Very nice car. Sexy front end gives it a unique look. Has decent power, a lot of bang for the buck
Bob Seger Rocks in the CD
Hey, just bought my new car! Cool saying that huh... Drove it first day and had a minor TSB issue and the dealer dealt with it correctly. Car is beautiful, stylish, affordable and will take care of my needs. First Chrysler product I have owned, Will Not be the Last!!!
BEST CAR ON ROAD
FUN TO DRIVE, MILEAGE IS GREAT VERY COMFORTABLE, GREAT LOOKING CAR.
Sebrings are awesome
I have only had this car for a month. It runs really smooth and good. The interior and exterior is wonderful. The horsepower on this bab is out of this world. The only problem I have with the sebring is that it drowns gas. whew, with gas prices as high as they are,you need to get a gas card.lol
Very Nice Car
If you're looking for a little "bling," this car will give you some good looks. This one turns lots of heads. It's comfy, stylish, and has solid quality. Great car for the money. Solid road manners, too. I get lots of compliments on this car. The dealership that sold me this car is the BEST. This is the second car in our family from this dealership, and I wouldn't think of going anywhere else - friendly service, no-pressure sales, and service people who do anything to get you in for an oil change at the last second.
Ok car for the price.
I am not so sure about the build quality of Chrysler/Dodge vehicles. This is a nice car with nice touches, but the transmission is very querky. The first week I had it it started leaking oil all over my driveway. Thats the only problem I have come in contact with so far.
A super car for a small amount of cash
Here in the Netherlands cars are very expencive because tax you must pay. The new Chrysler Sebring is a 'cheap' car here ( 40.000). Nothing compares with this car and price.
Very Nice Car
I think that this is a great car. I purchased my LX V6 sedan because I have always liked the body styling and it was the least expensive used sedan on the lot. I made the right choice. It handles better than the Mustang it replaced. I have had no mechanical problems. It gets 25 miles to the gallon commuting. The seats are comfortable. The controls are well laid out. I have driven 4 other people to lunch, and no one complained of the size. I would definitely recommend this car to my friends. It is a great car for the money.
Not impressed
Had to replace exhaust, door hinge, front disc brakes replaced 2 times before 60,000 km!
Can't find anything better
I have been shopping for a new car for months and I don't think I will beat what I have. My 04 Sebring LX is roomy. Very easy on the eyes. Decent gas mileage. Has been very reliable. Comfortable ride. Affordable to own. Think I'll quit looking
A very nice, quiet, comfortable ride
Not willing to pay the high taxes and registration costs of a new vehicle, I bought a 2004 Sebring with the DOHC, and I must say, for the money, it is a very good car. Sleek and quiet with very comfortable seats. Very fun to drive, responsive but not overbearing, and homey inside. Excellent stereo with good bass response. More than capable engine and yet very efficient on the highway. I love every part of my Sebring, and I am totally amazed at how low their resale value is, but that's good for buyers--very good. Saved over $12,000 over the cost of a new car, plus with my payments for only one year it is a solid value and very satisfying deal. I was amazed at how clean the engine compartment is--practically brand new, especially with the low mileage on the new timing chain replaced by the last owner. Dad bought this for daughter going to school, then I bought it from him. Excellent, very satisfying driving experience without flash or pizazz, that's my silver bullet.

HORRIBLE
My sister and I both bought our Sebrings the same day. The worst decision ever. Between the two of us we have had just about every problem listed in this forum. It's awful to save up for months for your upcoming wedding and have your engine blow (happened to both of us). This car should come with a box of Kleenex for all the heart break it causes and a free savings acct. so you can get a little jump on the repair bills.
A blast to drive & own!!!
A great car to drive. I drive 60 miles to work everyday and it makes the drive go by without a hitch. The sound system is amazing.
Big lemon
I have owned my sebring for 11 months, since then I have replaced a part for the transmission for 600.00. Now at 47,000 miles my engine went out in the car.Extended warranty? NO I did not think I would need one. There is no replacement engine on the market for me to purchase. So I'm stuck with a car I have paid 11,000 cash for and it does not run. Don't buy a Chrysler.
Review
Very dependable vehicle. good fuel mileage. Low maintenance cost. Average sound system with good knob placement
Owner
Although this vehicle was a gift, I feel it is a lot of car for the amount it was listed at. The car would have been more pleasing to the sight had the manufacturer added a little "class" to the interior design, such as the trim on the dash. It is a fun car to drive!
Great car
I bought this Sebring in March 2019 for 500dlrs. It had 107000km. It has 172000km now. All I've done to the car is front pads and rotors, front struts and ball joints, new tires all around last fall. It has the 2.4 DOHC very peppy for a 4cyl. UPDATE: I've owned my 2004 Sebring 2.4 DOHC sedan for three years. It had 100000km when I got it. It has 163000km now. It's a good thing that I have a old f150 I can drive when my Sebring is broke because it's alot. I've replaced brakes all around, upper and lower control arms and ball joints on the front. Upper ball joints in the back. Tie rods, stabilizer links, front struts, catalytic converter because it rotted right off. O2 sensors, oil pressure sensor, some other sensor that bolted onto the side of the motor I can't remember the name. Wheel bearings both sides. Only the driver side window works. The heat and ac only work on full blast. The lines that run to the heater core rotted off. Both back quarters are extremely rusted out. The trunk is rusted out I'm scared to lift up the carpet. In the winter the trunk fills with snow when driving because it's so rotted. My engine light is on and it has like 14 different codes I think. I only paid $500 for the car and I get my parts cheap online and can do the work myself but I'm hoping that my luck will change and I won't have to fix anything for awhile and get to drive the car for a few yrs problem free seeing how there's not much left to fix. Oh ya changed battery and alternator to. Had to take the front tire off to change the battery.
