This car is not easy to work on. The overall engineering of this vehicle. You have to pretty much dismantle most of the car to do simple repairs. My 03 Yukon is easier to repair than the trailblazer.

The SUV is wan't a bad purchase if you're looking for a nice ride which has had no major issues. The recurring problem is if you don't turn the gas cap 2-3 Full turns after you fill the tank the engine light would come on which can be very annoying. It will shut off after about 7 start-ups. If not, you have to take it to the dealership so they can reset the darn thing. Overall, not a bad buy and with the peace of mind that their are Chevy dealers everywhere if you were to need service.

Hold on to your horses on this one. Owned chevy products in the past and this one should be buried with the design. Reconsider this one folks, not bad under 36K but be prepared for costly repairs after warranty is out. Chevy with the 4.2 is noted for numerous electrical problems (Fuel sending units) bad connections and less than favorable gas mileage. Purchased new and currently average 11- 14mpg highway and have done all service inspections and it still has cost me over four thousand in repairs. Interior very cheaply assembled GM could have done a better job!! Think twice or even three times before you invest in this model and be prepared for repairs.

The 4.2 inline six has great power and torque. The outside lines are easy to clean, and the interior is greatly designed, resulting in an all around little mommy vehicle.
