Used 2021 Chevrolet Tahoe SUV Consumer Reviews
Bad lifter - same as other reviews
2021 Tahoe Sport. Our dream vehicle and it does not come cheap. Less than 7k miles when all the check engine lights came on and the car begun to shake. Issue - bad lifter. To make it worse it sat for 3 days waiting to see if parts where available. I was not given a loaner either. Day 4 - still no answer on parts but I do have a loaner now. Sad - GM = USA = not a good trend here
Don’t waste your time!
If you want to drive your vehicle instead of having it sit in the shop being fixed, don’t get a Tahoe. I have been a DIEHARD Tahoe driver. This is my 3rd and all I’ve drove my adult life. This was my first brand new Tahoe purchase and it’s been a lemon. Constant electrical issues. It’s been at the dealership being worked on more than I’ve actually drove it. The gear shifter is a bizarre mix of push and pull buttons/switches. Changing gears is like playing a game of bop it. The added cargo room compared to prior models was a selling point for me, but honestly, the extra room isn’t noticeable. Looks great on the outside. The new body style is sharp. The interior really doesn’t have that many upgrades/changes. My first Tahoe I drove until 265,000 miles. This one doesn’t even have 5,000 and it’s been worked on more. Never owning a Chevy again!

Dissatisfied / regretting purchase
This is my 5th Tahoe LT ('03, '13, '17, '18, '21) and I was excited with my purchase back in July 2020, this LT model has been back to the dealership for issues more than the previous 4 combined. Now a failed software update has and will cause me to be without the infotainment system/ radio for up to 3 weeks if not longer, with the point of purchase or service dealerships or GM doing little to address the inconvenience of my having purchased a brand new vehicle without the features that went into the decision to purchase. These reasons have lead my dissatisfaction and regret of buying the initial new model change. I'm hopeful that with my bringing the matter to GM that they will stand by their product and truly be concerned about customer satisfaction and appreciate customer loyalty with more than lip service. I'll send this review and keep you posted.
Best SUV hands down
Family and friends have had Tahoes and I didnt want to spend that much money. However after seeing it on the lot and test driving it, i was amazed and purchased my first Chevy and got the Z71 package. Amazing ride, comfort, handling and plenty of options for safety and comfort. I am amazed at the Tahoe hands down for the 2021 model.

2021 RST Tahoe with Engine Lifter Failure
I have loved this vehicle until yesterday! Bought it in January 2021 so not even 6 months old and has less than 6500 miles on it. This vehicle left me stranded. Driving down the interstate, I heard popping noises and the drive becomes very rough. Three messages appear alerting me to problems with the traction, collision system and engine emissions. The idle was akin to sitting on a tractor...very loud and rough. OnStar performed diagnostics and suggested it was safe to drive but needed servicing within 7 days. Tried to make it home but felt very unsafe so had to pull off the road again and get it towed. Luckily, the ONLY thing that was positive was the dealership's rapid response in helping me. I'm very anxious to drive this car now and am scared that I will be stranded again. Per the reviews here and in other forums, this has happened with some regularity. Why no recall? Why is this not being addressed? Not impressed Chevrolet.......
