Will never buy a Chevrolet again

I will never purchase a Chevrolet vehicle again. My 3 year old (originally $60,000+) vehicle has paint defects that the manufacturer is refusing to fix. The paint is literally oxidizing. Through my research, I have found that this a common issue. For this to occur on a vehicle that is only three years old and in otherwise excellent condition is ridiculous. There is an obvious manufacturer defect that I am now stuck with due to no fault of my own. Chevrolet refuses to assist with the issue. May I also mention that the brakes completely failed on the vehicle also due to a manufacturing defect. I was very patient with this situation and did not complain about the hassle of having to leave the vehicle in the shop for repairs for several weeks as the vehicle was deemed unsafe to operate. I was advised not to purchase a Chevrolet vehicle by others but figured I would give it a chance as I have owned many in the past, three to be exact. I have learned my lesson and now I feel that I need to inform others of the quality of their vehicles and customer service.

I bought this Tahoe off the internet sight unseen as I live in Phoenix and the Tahoe was in Maryland. The purchase price was below the Phoenix local market and worth paying the shipping fee. I trusted the dealer to disclose any damage so I could make an informed decision as to what repairs it may need. The Tahoe is a 2017 with only 5800 miles so I figured how much damage could there be. Mechanically it is fine. However the Tahoe’s short life as a rental took its toll. Some of the trim was damaged and the DVD player was missing. This was not mentioned by the salesman. When the Tahoe arrived I discovered the damage and was somewhat disappointed. I paid about $600.00 to have the damaged parts replaced. I still need to purchase a new DVD but for now that can wait. Even with the initial disappointment. The Tahoe is a beautiful truck and a pleasure to drive

Do not buy without knowing this

So we just bought one for our family of 5. Second row is huge which is great for three kids. Unfortunately we assumed all seats had head rests. WRONG. Chevy have decided in their wisdom that the middle seat passengers safety is none of their concern and saved 10 dollars and have made seats with no head rests (and it's not even an option). I have reached out to Chevy and they don't seem to care as it is not mandated by federal law. Well Toyota /Nissan/Hyundai/BMW/Honda/Acura... do care and they all have headrests for the middle sears in their SUV's. Shame on you Chevy.

We traded in our 2012 Tahoe because we wanted to upgrade. Love the 2017! Still learning about the electronics but so far everything is perfect!

The Premiere is a waste of money

This suv rides like a boat its "special" suspension is garbage. You literally can get sea sick. Its acceleration is very poor too. Good for families but honestly this is way too much money. I had a Dodge Durango that was way better and the technology far surpasses Chevy. Can't wait for my lease to be up.
