Used 2005 Chevrolet Tahoe Consumer Reviews
excellent vehicle
Comfort is out of this world. Everything you need is at your fingertips and easy to use. Enough room for the family and more. Wouldn't buy anything else now that I have owned this SUV!
Love this truck
I love this Tahoe. I've had several Suburbans before this and have loved every Suburban and Tahoe that I've had. Mine has the 4.8 so I get about 19mpg city/25hwy. I do wish I had the 5.3 for that extra grunt though..

My z71 Tahoe
Well, we are very excited about our Z71 Tahoe. We love to drive it, but are not excited about the gas mileage. Getting 11.9 MPG in town due to buying low rear axle ratio for heavy towing, but other than that, it's a great vehicle
My 2005 Z71
I have always admired the look of the Z71 Tahoe, particularly in black. So when GM offered me the Pull Ahead option on my '02 Trailblazer LTZ lease, along with some other financial incentives, I jumped at the chance to acquire the Tahoe. After a test drive and a bit of negotiation, I drove my new Z71 home. The ride, comfort and handling are outstanding - equal to or better than any car I've ever driven. Very surprising for such a large vehicle. The sound of XM radio coming through the Bose speakers is awesome, and the kids love the DVD. This is still the "honeymoon" phase. If the reliability holds up over the 48 SmartBuy period, I'll probably be driving a Tahoe in 2008.
Love my Tahoe
I have enjoyed owning my Tahoe and never regretted buying it. The DVD player has been awesome with the grandchildren and also the 3rd seat. Only had a few minor problems, car seat adjust and speed odometer quit working, but that was at 72k miles and the dealer fixed the odometer free. Wasn't great on gas but I expected that when I bought it.
