It's not a crossover it's the original SUV!

a well put together SUV. Interior is quiet and spacious with well laid out instrumentation.steering wheel controls for blue tooth as well as voice recognition. Exterior fits tight beautiful paint and trim. All around superior ride compared to other full size SUVs I have rented or test drove.

This is the second year of this model of Suburban - and it has a few problems, brake booster may be a recall, at times not functioned making braking more difficult. AC went out. Behind the 3rd row, the plastic handle that has a opens to provide a small storage area is poorly designed. Additionally the material on the hatch is cheaply made. Nearly every Suburban I have seen - even new ones - it breaks in no time at all. The outside pillars are glued on and become loose very easy. Thankfully with the new design the 3rd row folds down flat, but it has a downward slope. The defrost on rear window connections come off very easy. The size of the Suburban is unmatched in the SUV industry. Even the newest Ford Expedition Max - is smaller than the Suburban.

I think this is the 10th Chevrolet Suburban that we have owned since 1990. In my opinion you can’t beat them they are the do anything, go anywhere ultimate family and work utility vehicle. We have had boats for 30 years and the Suburban’s have always pulled them with ease while being loaded down with family, kids, dog and supplies. Also have pulled an 18 ft utility trailer with Four Wheelers long distances numerous times. Not to mention pulling large Lawn Mowers, Pallets of Grass ( usually 2 at a time ) and numerous loads of Firewood. It’s a Chevrolet and it’s Made in the USA I’m proud of that! It’s also pretty easy to fix and people all over the country can work on it and get parts. We live in Texas and just drove to northern Kansas loaded down with people and hunting equipment to go Pheasant hunting. Drove the Z71 through snow and mud over 1000 miles and it did fantastic! I can’t speak for others but we service our Suburban. Oil changes every 3,000 miles and Transmission fluid flush and change every 20,000 miles. Wash and vacuum every week. Runs, drives and looks great! Black on Black Chevrolet Z71 Suburban. We love it!
