Suburban does it again

About two years ago I sold my 1997 Suburban. I thought I would never find another vehicle like my 1997 Suburban. Boy, I was wrong. When I took delivery of my 2003 LT 2WD Suburban I was really impressed by the smoothness and the handling of this mamoth. I am really happy as well as my family to have purchased this King of the road. Long live the Suburban!

Highs and Lows

I use the vehicle for both business and family transport (4 kids). Highs = people and gear fit nicely, ride/performance is good, fuel economy suprising Lows = build/design driver's seat has squeaked since last year (annoying), engine rattles when first started (dealer/others claim it's a design problem with pistons!!! no fix short of a rebuild) Overall, I like the size and performance I just wish Ford would make one this size as GM's quality is suspect (I've had "0" problems with 3 F150's owned)

Exactly what I wanted

I have a '03 Suburban LS which we will use primarily to tow a Coleman camper. I love the Bose sound system, the smooth drive train, and the overall design. I very carefully looked at a wide range of vehicles and I think this one has everything I want at a very competitive price. I think the Sequoia is a higher quality vehicle, but when you factor in the price and the extra space, I think the Suburban wins.

I love bing able to take the kids and go shopping at the same time. I have plenty of room and often avoid having to take two cars when extended family visits. I park it in New York City with no problem, even on the street. I will always own this type of car!

A Great Vehicle for A Family of 5 or Up

I have really enjoyed driving the Suburban LT. It handles very well for a large vehicle and it's very roomy for the occupants as well as all the cargo to go with them. The only down side is the fuel that it burns is pretty substantial but well within the mpg ratings for its class. I highly recommend this SUV if you are a family of 5 or more.
