Used 2002 Chevrolet Suburban Consumer Reviews
This is it!
I just purchased my Surburban abotu a month ago and I love it. I was a little disappointed with the 2-wheel drive feature but I realized that I do not live in the mountains and I do not plan to plow any snow anytime soon. This SUV is unreal, it has a smooth ride like my friend's Lexus. (not quite, but you get the point) If you have the chance, get one.
Only one Suburban, no competition!
The General just keeps making them better. And listen up folks..besides being fast with loads of horse power....They get GOOD mileage! I stay above 16 in town and often go over 20 on trips. I know Edmonds likes to knock GM but I can attest they are full of "you know what"!!! Their bias shows when they say the 'Burb's are gas guzzlers and the Ford Expedition's aren't... The 'Burbs get far better mileage but you'd never now it from Edmund's anti GM minion's!

FANTASTIC VEHICLE
NOT MUCH TO SAY OTHER THAN THIS IS A GREAT TRUCK. VERY SMOOTH AND POWERFUL AND GREAT AT HAULING PEOPLE AND GEAR. MY MILAGE IS BETTER THAN 17 ON HIGHWAY, AND I MOVE. EVEN IN CITY I'VE NEVER GOTTEN BELOW 15. I CARRY FOUR TO EIGHT PEOPLE OFTEN AND LOTS OF GEAR. NEVER A SINGLE PROBLEM, NOR A SINGLE BLEMISH. PAINT STILL LOOKS NEW. HAULS TRAILER WITH NARY A WHIMPER (I PASSED MANY CARS GOING UP MOUNTAIN GRADES WHILE PULLING A CAMPER -- AND GOT 17
Love My Suburban
I love my Suburban. With 80,000 miles on it, it has cost me less in maintenance than my Honda scooter with 4k. Be prepared for the gas bill, but be pleasantly surprised by the lack of maintenance cost. I do regular oil changes, have changed tires twice, and just got my first brake job. I love my 'burban. It's about to haul me, my wife and our two dogs on a three week camping trip across the country, and I have no worries about it's performance. Buy American! You wont be disappointed!!!
What a way to build a vehicle !
I have had this vehicle since new and only had a couple of problems. The I- Shaft for the steering (GM knows of this problem and repaired it), 2 master cylinders (covered under extended warranty). Drives rock solid, in snow, water, dry pavement. Pulls boat trailer and race trailer with little problem. Bigger motor would have been better choice and a Duramax Diesel would be better.
