My Old Lady is rocking it.
This car is my favorite by far. At nearly 180 thousand miles, she has held up well. I have kept up with maintainance and have used the higher grade gasoline the whole time. My only issue has been the paint on the hood and top of vehicle. I missed out on the paint recall, otherwise a great car.

GM can do better than this, but won't!
Bought this lemon December 2018 with 61k miles. Headlights were useless, brought back next business day, dealer tried to say I'd wrecked the car (I hadn't). Took three attempts and threats of legal action to get it even sort of fixed (I had to adjust the housings and install LED upgrades). In less than a year of ownership, I found piston blow-by, transmission problems and CV axle noise. The infotainment refused to pair to my phone and the 12V socket lost power when the driver's door was opened. Traded it for a Toyota and I haven't looked back since. If you're looking at a GM product with any EcoTec besides the 2.5L - RUN! These things are JUNK! GM screwed up canceling the OHV 2.2, 3.1, 3.3, 3.4 and 3.8! Even my elderly father has dumped GM for Toyota.

Best Vehicle in this Class!!!
I bought my car brand new in 2016 and love it!! The style is what caught my eye, but overall it is a reliable and well built car. I was rear-ended August, 2019 and because of the rear impact bar, my rear passenger walked away from the accident. The truck was dented pretty bad, but that impact bar prevented the truck from ended up in the rear seat. It has great pick-up speed, handling and gas mileage. There a features that this car offers other cars do not have, WiFi, auto-lock (when I walk away the doors auto lock), rear camera (standard), On-Star, Android Auto and so much more. When I had to have a rental car, I was missing my baby so bad. If you have children, the WiFi comes in handy whether you are running errands or taking a long ride. I also drive Uber and Lyft, so offering WiFi to my passengers always gets me a 5 star rating. It also allows you to talk and surf the net without interruption and that is so key when driving for Uber or Lyft, my navigation or apps are never interrupted. I believe that this is one of the best cars in it's class and the rating is too low. Vehicle analyst that provide reports on the vehicle sometimes can be biased because they want the foreign car makers to be on top and that is why they hold their value more so than American made cars. I have driven other cars and the Malibu is in a high class when it comes to safety, style, power, gas mileage and reliability. I have 58K on my 2016 and have not had any issues outside of replacing the battery. I am looking forward to the new upgrades to the vehicle and when it is time for me to get another vehicle, it will be another GM!!!

Surprisingly packs a mean punch!
Currently own a 2016 Chevrolet Malibu lt 1.5T and it’s amazing from the interior to exterior but most importantly they say the acceleration drags it doesn’t. The numbers are not accurate I can get from 0-60 in 6seconds easy I live right off a highway where speed limit is 75mph so you have to pull out on the highway with a lead foot and I do! so far I’m at 55k and it’s still completely flawless. Top speed is unknown but personally have reached 128mph. Pretty sure with the correct speed rated tires this car could compete with other high end sport sedans and top speeds of luxury exotic sports cars.
