Bought this car in June 2018.. It has about 3,000 miles. It is good on gas.. It is very noisy.. If anyone has a hearing problem...don't buy this car. My husband can never hear me the first time. Too much road noise..Not enough insulation... I am not a fan of the car shutting off when you stop at the light or any thing else. It is a very uncomfortable feeling for me and I have not gotten used to it ... I am not happy owning this car and may have to trade it ... It is sort of like getting the cheap seats at the concert... Buyers interested in this car should really drive it for longer than a test drive ...

Small gas tank, primative info center

I have been driving this car for over a month now. The first thing I noticed that is the gas tank. It's really small for a SUV. Even with less than 50 miles range, it only takes about 10 gallons. Though the gas mileage is ok but I wish it holds more gas. I am surprise that the ECO mode is actually less gas efficient than the normal mode according to the car's own measurements. It's my first car with Carplay and Android Auto. The Carplay works very well though it only supports limited app and not Google map. I do have issue with Android Auto. It connects but OK Google hardly works. It may be the car or Google. The display on the info screen has no design at all. It only has six icons with plenty of blank space. It looks something from the 70s or worst. I think if you are connected with Carplay or Android Auto, you can't connect other device with Bluetooth. It may connect only one BT device also. It does connect automatically when you get in the car. Have no issue with the capless gas tank and never had filling issue. There is not a button t turn off the auto stop, why? I don't think I will buy one for myself for many reasons.

We bought a used, loaded, lease return Equinox at 19k miles, with all but the turbo 2.0, and no diesel and leather. Was very happy to see it was possible to get factory heated drivers and passenger seats with cloth. We've owned leather seats on several cars, cloth feels better. I've heard a lot of complaints regarding the acceleration of this car with the smaller 1.5 engine. Maybe after driving company car CUV's for several years now, I'm just used to cars of this size with 4 cylinders. Because this car in my opinion, has more than ample acceleration. I drove a Ford Escape company vehicle for 4 years, and it easily equals that car. They recently put us in new 2018 Hyundai's, and the Equinox easily out performs the Hyundai in overall engine performance. I'm an old gear head that has had my share of high performance vehicles. I guess in my mind, I didn't buy this car for that. I got it for my wife. We drove the Escape, the Big three Asian models(I know they're built here now), the Equinox and Escape were clearly in our opinion, the more solidly built cars with real heft in the doors when opening and closing them, and a real solid traditional American car feel in the ride. In fact, when we drove it, we were stunned in how solid it felt, as if were chiseled out of granite. Mileage is a very pleasant surprise at 28.8 mpg overall. Although we didn't really shop for exterior looks, I am impressed with how nice the car looks in the driveway. Gotten several compliments at the store and gas station. So far the car has been very reliable. The factory six speaker stereo is surprisingly nice sounding for a base stereo, excellent sound separation, nice deep bass without the need for high volume. The rear passenger space was a very pleasant surprise. There's plenty of leg room back there. The 2009 Nissan Rogue we have, was severely lacking in that regard. I'll post a long term report when we get there. Oh, I almost forgot, even though the seats seem comfortable, and pretty much in line with other CUV's, I do agree that Chevy could make a longer bottom cushion, there's plenty of front interior space to do so.

Our first Chevrolet in years. Over all we are very pleased with comfort,storage,a/c,leg and headroom front and back. Do not like the stop start feature... We have had or 2018 Chevrolet equinox since Sept. 2017. Buckalew Chevrolet associates and service were outstanding.
