Absolutely do not buy a Chevy Colorado
I will keep this simple and to the point, I bought my truck in 2016 and have been to the dealership 14 times for repairs. I feel like I have been absolutely ripped off I paid $40,000 for this truck and it's awful. Since I've been to the dealer so many times there is no way I can sell this truck, I urge and plead with everyone stay away from the Chevy Colorado.

Rattle trap
Ripp off stay away from this truck. Mine never did really run great. The rear axles made bad noise. The bottom of the truck had a bad rattling sound when you run over any little thing and the dealer said it was normal. $40k and it should not sound like the bottom was gonna fall apart. I traded it and got a new Tacoma. JUNK and no support from GM

You will be Satisfied
You will not regret this purchase. The fuel economy his not what I expected, but the rest of the 2016 Colorado's features more than make up for that. I'm very pleased with the ride, which is better than some cars. I would recommend this truck to anyone.

Mini-Mac review (2.8 diesel)
I have 73,000 miles on this truck and if I had to do it all over again, I'd buy this same truck again. Or, if that one was stolen, I'd replace it with one just like it. Mine is the crew cab, 4x4, red Z71. I just drove it yesterday from my home in Chico, CA to Oakland, CA and got 28.5 mpg at a cruise-controlled 73 mph. My overall mpg, including running in 4x4 in the snow, back country exploring and trailer hauling is 25 mpg. The truck and a few emission control issues and a rough running situation that was caused by prolonged idling, but these were all taken control of by the dealer early on in the truck's life. The truck has had no other issues. Downside: I'm seeing some wear in the stitching on the driver's front seat, where your butt slides across the edge of the seat as you get in and out. Side steps/running boards will help with this. There is an annoying about 2 second delay on some of the interior controls like lights and fans, but you get used to it. I wish the back sliding window was electronically controlled from the dash, but it isn't. Paint seems to be holding up well. Overall, I am very happy with this truck. It has had no real issues and performs in all categories very well. Can haul 5 people comfortably and carry my motorcycle in the back (I recommend the long bed). Does well off road. Ride is a touch harsh, but probably because I got the Z71 off road package. NOTE: The "vehicle details" did not allow me to enter that this is the 2.8, 4 cyl DIESEL truck, NOT the 6 cyl) I recommend this truck.

Diesel Purs like a kitten
Sprung for the Diesel even though it was an expensive option. Well worth it. It sounds great and very smooth. Averaging 25 around town, 33 HWY. Turns heads for sure. This truck has a superior ride quality and a very quite cabin. The Bose sound system doesn't get any better. Love this Truck! This Truck was born to tow!!!
