Good work truck
I’ve owned this truck since early 2016. Finally I decided to replace the driver side rear spring that had been sagging since new. Cost me about $350 since GM would not fix it on warranty. Overall I like the Colorado. It gets good gas mileage and is comfortable on long trips. My cloth Upholstery stains easily so I recommend leather. I’m very pleased with the V-6 engine. 4W drive, not so much. I wish I would have considered a Frontier more when I purchased new. The most positive point about this truck is that it has never broke down. Reliability is awesome.

Top Ten Reasons to NOT to buy a Colorado Truck
Let me start off this review by telling you this is the worst GM has to offer their customers. lf they were looking to drive their customers to Toyota or some other manufacture, they have succeeded. Below is a list of complaints and issues that GM fails to resolve.1. Poor Customer Service by Manufacturer. 2. Hood Flutter at Highway Speed. 3. Climate Control Noisy and Useless. 4. Terrible Upshift and Downshift Quality. 5.Brakes Clunk. 6. Truck has a 1" plus Lean to Driver Side. 7. Poor Body Panel fit. 8. Useless Headlight design. 9. Terrible Power Range. 10. Longevity. This truck will be lucky to last the warranty period.

Who needs a Tacoma when there's this.
I'm currently 4 years into owning my 2016 Chevy Colorado Z71 Trailboss. Honestly the best midsize truck on the market. Has great tech features with its 7 inch Mylink system, heated seats, power adjustable seats, and even wifi (I don't use it). Additional tech includes several USB 2.0 ports, an aux input port in the front, 2 seperate 12v sockets (one front, one rear), and a very intuitive driver information center integrated to the gauge cluster. A very nice feature also included in this truck is steering wheel radio controls placed ergonomically on the back of the steering wheel, so you do not need to take your eyes off the road or hands off the wheel to change the radio station or adjust the volume. Motor and transmission are nice too. Has a fairly peppy 3.6 LFX V6, which can be found in several other model families in GM's lineup, and behind it is a firm shifting 6l40 hydromatic transmission. Not a bad setup at all. The truck is certainly a responsive vehicle, and combined with its 2 speed transfer case and rear Eaton G80 locker, it's very capable off road for the price. Ride quality is a solid 4/5. It has a firm, yet comfortable ride on paved roads, and even off road is not only comfortable, but extremely responsive as well. The crew cab is very roomy even as a midsize truck. Rear passengers have more than enough legroom without the front seats needing to move forward to accommodate. It has the facilities to seat 5, however it'll only seat 4 grown adults comfortably. Towing is also an impressive feat for this truck. It's rated from the factory to tow up to 7200 lbs with the gasoline V6. Fuel economy is what you can expect of a midsize pickup truck. I live a just over a mile above sea level, and when the truck was stock I'd see mpg figures of 34 mpg hwy (70 mph), and 25 mpg city with an average of 28 overall. Bed space is also what you would expect from a midsize truck, but it makes the most of what it has. Mine is the short bed model (5 ft 1 in) and came with a spray in bedliner. I've hauled lumber, drywall, and lawn care equipment, and even the front end of a project car in the bed of this truck. It has 4 tie down points made into the bed, with provisions to add additional tie down points easily. A very nice feature GM designed this truck with was a soft drop tailgate that uses a damper. Very nice if you have your hands full so you don't need to worry about catching the tailgate. The rear bumper also has steps built in to assist getting up into the bed and getting out, and working alongside that is especially designed postholes with an angled cutout in the bed walls to work as a grabbing surface for getting in and out of the bed. In summary, this is a truck I'd recommend to friends and family, and I'd certainly buy another one if I was in the market for one again.

Overall Pretty Happy
Overall pretty happy with my 2016 Colorado. Only major issues are the poor front ground clearance and my hood really viberates when you drive in the wind. In a strong wind feels like the hood is going to blow off.
