These cars are only a 4cyl.but they can get up and go. I bought my Cobalt and within a week I found myself putting extra mileage on it. I enjoy driving this car, and my childern love it too. They kind of look sporty, but they also have enough room for a family of five. The trunks are huge too.

I just bought my Cobalt back in February and I can't complain about it at all. The Cobalt is decades better than the Cavalier and you cannot compare the two. The car handles so nice and the build quality is excellent. As well, the car has plenty of power with the 2.2L, especially on the highway in the higher RPM's.

I purchased this car under a GM smartbuy...$2000 down and $65/month. I wanted something I could drive back and forth to work and get good gas mileage. But I got MUCH more. This car has NO options. But it comes with so much...A/C, CD player, tilt, rear defroster, auto on and off lights, etc. I'm very pleased with the power and refinement of the 2.2 ecotech engine...it's sneaky fast. The car is very composed and quiet on the road. It shifts effortlessly. If you're considering a small car, DRIVE this one....it's an eye opener!

My new car

Bought this car because I read a lot of positive reviews on it. Then the test drive came and I loved it. I used to drive a 1995 Jeep Cherokee Laredo but I was a victim in a car crash and it was taken away from me. So safety was my key concern and let me tell you, I feel safe in this car!

Fun to drive, great u-turns, and good mileage. 123,000 miles so far. For the most part, I have been happy with my Cobalt up until recently, and I don't know if I should blame the car or my teen who drives it a lot! The key gets stuck in the ignition, and if I pull back gently on the shift lever while in PARK, the ignition locks so the key will come out. The radio/cd player has locked up on it own a couple of times, but then unlocks itself. Check engine goes on and off occasionally, and ENGINE POWER REDUCED too. But I shut down the car, restart it 20 min later and the problem goes away. Might have faulty PCM, heard there is a bulletin out on that particular Cobalt problem.
