XTS 2016 DISASTER

This is my second XTS Sedan. I owned the 2013 which had multiple service issues including the Cadillac Cue System and the Stabilizer System. In the end, the problem was never resolved with the computer system. On my 2016 XTS, I had a leak with the sunroof, where as the factory neglected to connect the sunroof drain. I had to have the head liner, back seat cover and electrical wiring redone as a result. The Stabilizer has also failed in is currently undergoing repair. The XTS is a beautiful looking car, if you want something to impress the neighbors while sitting in the driveway. However, if you need a reliable vehicle to drive, the XTS is not it. The car is over-priced for the VALUE - I CANNOT WAIT FOR THE LEASE TO EXPIRE - THIS IS MY LAST CADILLAC

There were limited sources for the Premium model when I was ready to buy, there were lots of Luxury's available however the bells and whistles of the Premium kept it my choice to buy.

I waited 20 years for this car as my career and family grew. I don’t drive it every day, so at 5 years old, it has 21,500 miles. Aside from a small problem with the side mirrors fluttering at 70+mph (they were both replaced), I have not had a single issue with the car. Every time I get in, I still smile with happiness and you won’t believe it, but it still has a new car smell. The leather interior, roomy seating both in front and back, and the smooth ride all brings me back to the Cadillacs of the 70s, when I told myself in high school that I was going to buy a big Cadillac some day!

I Love this car. I am hard on a car, this car handles well, accelerates when I ask for power without lag. Very roomy especially the trunk. Nothing but praise. All the safety features keep Me out of trouble when I’m tempted by the power. It the perfect car for Us who are used to the old Cadillacs from the 1970’s and 90’s. It’s your father’s Cadillac. In fact it reminds me of my old 89 Pontiac SSE. Without the glitches ( electronic Dash was new then and unreliable). But the luxury, power , and style are there. Love it. UPDATE: A pleasure to drive, great ride, safety features are many and work well. Haven’t been so happy with a car and such a fun powerful ride since my1989 Bonneville SSE
