SRX V8 Panoramic Luxury Sport Tourer
Overall, an excellent value if you can find a well-maintained one with V8 and timeless 20" chrome wheels with sport package. Common issues include accumulated water in rear tire well mainly due to clogged grommets in both rear interior strut latches, wheel bearings needing replacement due to sub par quality, brake lines trending to corrode. Otherwise, a SOLID road worthy vehicle which handles like a sports sedan more so than an suv since its on a car chassis. Panoramic roof rails could need periodic cleaning, 3rd row seat is roomy as an option. Acceleration is excellent with fuel efficiency 13/21 mpg. Looks are STILL timely versus newer cars and comfort and wood, leather interior is well laid out. Quiet, smooth and powerful feel with lots of relevant and convenient tech features in the driver's menu, including active battery saver mode. I'd recommend this vehicle in V8 variety as a daily driver due to its looks and capabilities/reliability. It must be maintained properly to yield lasting performance and ownership satisfaction. V6 versions are reportedly prone to timing chain issues. Sport models from 2007-2009 are the best looking and performing ones to seek with documented ownership maintenance records, preferably not in extreme heat climate since these vehicles do better in moderate temperatures due to age. Plows through snow no problem!

Nice ride, for a short wheel base has a very smooth ride. The V6 has plenty on get up and go, but it doesn't have the power to keep it at a 70 mph run.Hardly ever is in 5th gear. If you watch the rpm you will notice an increase and still running 60 or 70 . that's why the fuel economy is so poor. I get about 21.5 hwy.But I'll pay the price for the ride and reliability

Stay Away
Purchased this car used, as we never buy brand new. Have owned and Eacalade ESV, Mercedes M Class, Audi A4, etc prior. Never have I had a car that I hated more than this. Poor gas mileage, slow to accelerate, oil always low, panoramic roof broke twice, lost just goes on and on. Constant mechanical issues. Took to dealer a few months ago because steering gave out. Gave me a list of things wrong including the entire power steering system. Every last bit of that was shot. Unacceptable for a car with 100K on i and a car I properly maintained. These problems added up to the tune of $6,000. That was last straw. Traded it, got nothing for it, but so happy to be rid of it. Went with a Lexus RX 350
My Cadillac Station Wagon
I have always like station wagons. This is my first Cadillac. My wife and I are very pleased with the product. It is comfortable more than any wagon I have had previously. It has plenty of spare power and handles easily. I would recommend this vehicle to anyone interested in a superior vehicle.
