Used 2023 Cadillac LYRIQ SUV Trims Comparison

Trim level differences

Cadillac's 2023 Lyriq is a five-passenger midsize electric SUV. For its launch, the Lyriq comes in a limited Debut Edition with rear-wheel drive and the choice of silver or black paint. It's otherwise identically outfitted with the same features as the singular Luxury trim that is available with all-wheel drive and more color choices. All Lyriqs come with a 100-kWh battery pack. The single-motor rear-wheel-drive version supplies 340 hp and 325 lb-ft of torque and an EPA-estimated 312 miles of range. An all-wheel-drive model is available on the Luxury trim and adds a second motor to drive the front wheels, increasing output to an estimated 500 hp. GM estimates it will go 307 miles on a single charge. Keep reading for our curated rundown of the Lyriq's standard and optional features.

Luxury
Comes well equipped with:

  • 20-inch alloy wheels
  • LED exterior lighting (with startup animation)
  • Rain-sensing and heated windshield wipers
  • Heated, power-folding exterior mirrors
  • Power liftgate (AWD models add hands-free actuation)
  • Panoramic fixed-glass sunroof
  • Ambient interior lighting
  • Wood interior trim
  • Dual-zone automatic climate control
  • Heated, power tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel
  • Synthetic leather upholstery (Cadillac's Inteluxe)
  • Power-adjustable front seats with lumbar massage
  • Heated and ventilated front seats
  • Folding and reclining 60/40-split back seats

There is plenty of technology aboard the Lyriq Luxury, such as:

  • 33-inch instrumentation and infotainment display
  • Google built-in infotainment and voice assistant system
  • Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration (both with wireless connectivity)
  • Navigation system
  • Natural voice recognition system
  • Connected apps and services (including access to a Wi-Fi hotspot)
  • Wireless smartphone charger
  • 19-speaker AKG premium sound system
  • Digital rearview mirror (AWD only; allows you to see out of the back even with a fully loaded cargo area)

Luxury trim also includes numerous driver assist features:

  • Adaptive cruise control (maintains a driver-set distance between the Cadillac and the car in front)
  • Super Cruise (uses the vehicle's advanced driver aids to provide hands-free driving capability on select highways; some initial Lyriqs might need to have it added by way of an over-the-air update)
  • Forward collision warning with automatic braking (warns you of an impending collision and applies the brakes in certain scenarios)
  • Blind-spot intervention (automatically steers the car back into its lane if you try to change lanes while a car is in the vehicle's blind spot)
  • Rear cross-traffic alert (warns you if a vehicle behind you is about to cross your path while you're in reverse)
  • Rear automatic braking (brakes if sensors detect an imminent collision with an object behind the vehicle)
  • Surround-view camera system (gives you a top-down view of the Lyriq and its surroundings for tight parking situations)
  • Automated parking system (steers into a parking spot with little or no driver intervention)

The only options for the Lyriq Luxury include:

  • 22-inch alloy wheels
  • Cargo organizer
  • First-aid kit

Which LYRIQ trim does Edmunds recommend?

With only the Luxury trim available and few options offered, you really only need to select paint, interior colors, and either rear- or all-wheel-drive. We suggest opting for the all-wheel-drive version because it delivers more power and performance without significantly affecting range.
