Original owners and only drivers always garaged and well maintained according to manufacturer's service recommendations. Interior is immaculate, paint is pearl white.

This car looked as close to new as a car could, it was beautiful. It was 7 years old had 60,000 miles when we bought it. At 68,000 mi, water pump replacement and a plastic connecting part, Cost$600+, @70,125mi. 8yrs old:transmission compleatly destroyed, Cost $3,800+, @ 71,828 mi. Ideler pulley wipped surpentine belt out, Cost $132, @72,400 mi. Radiator cracked, traded this crap in on a used truck. Selling dealer would only give a trade in of $3,500 a year later, the car still looked new and was in excellant mechanical condition when we tried to trade it. Traded it in at mega loss at a diferent dealer.

Head gasket blues

Sure, I bought the car as is and I knew there would be some problems, but I did not think that the head gasket was shot and would cost me an additional $3000 to fix. Coolant was leaking into the engine and the car overheated every few miles. Private repair shops sent me back to the dealer who basically said "too bad"...if I want to keep the car, I have to pay for the repair.

Engines Blow Out in Cadillacs\Ask Me

Rides well, handles well. However, the Engine overheated and blow out. The gauges never informed that the engine was hot or low on fluid. I come from a family of Mechanics and know the importance of watching over a car......the gauges I've been told operate after over 212 degress....and is useless to the Consumer. Cadillac should pay for the new Engine, but I never did ask them as I know uselss. I have two friends with Cadillacs this has happened to as well. joannebuck@att.net
