Went for a drive in the country last weekend and all I can say is WOW! Car was rock solid at 110 and when passing a car it was still pushing me back in the seat at 80. Has all the torque you would ever need. Soft leather seats and a well laid out interior. The exhaust rumble make you want to drive it. This car is a keeper.

Feel like a winner...

Well, i finally bought a used 2008 BMW 650I convertible V8 in 2020 and it is in excellent condition. I love cars and i have had about 41 cars by now but this one is the best i have ever owned. Let's face it when it was new i can not afford it for real, the retail price in 2008 was at 85k base price and i have the window sticker that says 88k with options like sport package and winter package plus upgrade stereo system, i would imagine with sale tax at 8% and dealer fees the car probably leaves the show room at about 95k car. In 2008 the new Corvette only costs 36k. Today 2020 the new 650i would cost 256k. Well, i thanks all the rich buyers that bought this car new so i can buy it used today. I have this 650i for about 2 months now and i love every minutes of driving it, the seat is very sporty and comfy it hugs you good, the steering wheel is nice and tight no vibrations, it has plenty of power and very responsive, takes off great and very fast, i hit my head on the head rest every time i step on the pedal, i feel like the town is in slow motion when i drive this car, everyone seems to be slow as snail, and every time i take off from a green light i always ahead of the pack and i can see all cars in my rear view mirror. The suspension is awesome it made for curves and changing lanes, the breaks are super light on stopping and quiet and smooth. Driving with the top down i feel like a millionaire though i can still drive faster than most convertibles out there. I feel like people either loves me or hate me when they see me in this 650i, they love me because they think i have good taste in car and they hate me is because they think how can i afford to buy this car?, i did not mean it but my 650i is the most expensive car in my company's parking lot and we have about 120 cars in the lot. Anyhow, i really enjoy driving this 650i it is ultimate driving machine for real, and i have had Benz, Audi, Porches, Lexus, Corvettes, ect...This is my 3rd BMW, my other car now is the 2012 BMW 528I AWD 4dr sedan, that's is also a very nice car. The 650i is by any means not a perfect car, my car does not have bluetooth for phone music only for phone talks, the rear trunk when hit open on the remote it unlocks and that is it, you have to then open it by hand and not open automatically, it drinks a lot of gas for it power. I have no problem with this car yet, but i will update later about a year from now to see if any issues occurred. The car drives quietly and smooth, powerful, fast, gears shifts smooth , its very enjoy to drive, some times i come home from work and i want to drive some more to satisfy my thrill so i pass my house and keep on driving. i have the upgraded stereo system which sounds the best.

My only complaint really is ease of access entry and exit. The front seats the lumbar sticks out too much and one has to twist to get in or out and it isn't not great on a problematic back.

Take a second look at me!

I have now owned my 2007 650i convertible for 8 months. Being a longstanding BMW enthusiast, I traded in my 2004 M3 convertible, a car that I truly loved. With the 650i, you get M3 neck-snapping acceleration with a more luxurious ride and interior. The iDrive, although a pain at first, is actually pretty neat. Go for the options: nav, Sirius, comfort access, bigger tires. What's a few extra bucks at this point? This car will make everyone take a second look, especially when you're effortlessly passing them at 110 mph. This Beauty is a Beast!
