Had some technical issues
I purchased the 2019 A7 premium plus. In the four months since ownership, the vehicle had a few issues. Upon entering the highway from a stop, the vehicle rolled backwards and the rear view camera turned on. On another occasion, the vehicle braked unexpectedly. There were also warning lights and error messages that would come on, but when you restart the vehicle, the messages would go away. The A7 is a beautiful vehicle, but needs some updates to correct the technical problems.

NEW 21 AUDI TOTALLY BROKE DOWN ONLY 823 miles in!
BRAND NEW 2021 A7e became COMPLETELY NON-OPERATIONAL after 2+ weeks of ownership and just over 800 miles on it. It had to be towed to a dealership and wait weeks for a part to come in from Germany. Imagine the excitement and joy of owning a new car like this to the wondering about Audi's build quality and reliability on this car for the rest of my ownership period….big time downer, time suck, frustration and inconvenience coupled with Audi Customer "Care" that was ANYTHING BUT CARING. Where is the empathy for the people that pay $ 87k for a vehicle that completely fails right after you buy it and that you dreamed of owning. Instead a sincere apology they use a lot of hollow words, but don't back them up by standing by their cars and doing the right thing. They felt repairing it under it's standard warranty a reasonable remedy. That would be acceptable if something happened a year or two into my ownership, not 2 weeks!?!?!? Thankfully, I had a dealer that was sympathetic and bought back the vehicle. You probably won't be so lucky and Audi will not help you whatsoever. Yes, I'm angry, but that is not the purpose of this posting. I am just hoping to spare others of what I went through with Audi, first with the horrible build quality and then with no one at Audi caring or thinking this was horrible and taking responsibility. Please, before buying an Audi, do yourself a favor and research them (and all of the VW brands, since that is who they are owned by). Audi of America has an F grade from the Better Business Bureau and don't forget VW had to pay millions of dollars in settlements for cheating on emissions standards results. Yes, their cars look beautiful and can be fun to drive (when they work), but unless you are a glutton for punishment, don't think it won't happen to you. I NEVER thought in my wildest dreams something like this would happen and if it did I was confident a reputable company would assist me. Nothing could be further from the truth! IF only this was a bad dream. Also, you should be aware the issue was with a major hybrid component….this from a coming who is marketing about how great their electric cars are….please don't be a victim of their smoke and mirrors marketing. I don't wish what they put me through on my worst enemy.

Wow
I have driven SUVs for 15 years and decided to give a sedan a try. Once I drove the A7 there was no way I was buying anything else. This is the smoothest driving car I have ever driven . The tech is state of the art. The only problem I had was finding one since they are in such demand.

The A7 is the BEST CAR ON THE ROAD
Nothing on the road compares to the A7. It is unique. Drives like a GT, rides on rails, beautifully crafted sedan, and tremendous hatchback storage options. The gas mileage is amazing at 30 true mpg highway. This is my 3RD A7 and i will never own another car or suv. The Bang & Olufsen sound is without competition. The A7 is marvelous to drive, practical with the hatchback, and a head turner all in one. AT IT'S HEART IT IS A MULTI-DIMENSIONAL GT. After 6 months the only thing i would change are the tires. The low profile Bridgestone Turanza's look great and ride great the downside is like all low profile tires they are more prone to damage at the slightest touch of a curb and more likely to need replacement for the smallest nail incursion. Not a big deal but if you acquire and A7 sport line - see if you can order or pick it up with a tire swap to something that is not low profile. (it's a nit because the car is LIKE NO OTHER ON THE ROAD - STRIKING LOOKS, INCREDIBLE INTERIOR and is MUCH EASIER TO ORDER THAN IT'S PRICIER SISTER THE PANAMERA. it is simply the best car and alone in it's class without competition.

Had to be towed to dealer
Our two month old 2019 Audi A7 (there was no option to review the 2019 model) had to be towed to the dealer leaving us stranded 200 miles from home. Had low tire pressure warning several times — dealer checked it out and said everything was fine. The check engine light had been on for a couple of weeks which the dealer said could wait till we got back from our trip. Had a brief message about some system failing, had very slow acceleration which we understand was a turbo problem. Closing the sunroof takes multiple attempts — just before closing the sunroof keeps retracting.
Beautiful Blac A7
Wow stunning car, get compliments constantly! Joy to drive quiet and comfortable.

The Beast!
I like everything about the A7 55TFSIe Prestige. Refined interior, a classy exterior, lots of power and great gas mileage for the plug-in hybrid. I have averaged 90.5 miles per gallon over 14, 500 miles and I do not "baby" the car. Love the massaging seats and the web radio also. Overall, I am very happy with the car and Audi's service.

Exceptional Luxury Car
I bought a dealership courtesy car (2019 A7 Premium Plus w/ S Line Trim) with only about 3500 miles on the odometer back in 2020 for about $20K in savings over the MSRP on a new comparable model. It came as a Certified Pre-Owned (CPO), which gave me a better warranty than buying a new A7, and it’s the only way I recommend buying this type of luxury vehicle. I’ve now owned my A7 for over 4 years and it now has over 52K miles on the odometer, with very few problems over the years I’ve owned it. The most amazing thing to me is the gas mileage I’ve achieved on several road trips, averaging nearly 40 MPG with mostly highway driving at an average 65 MPH! Around town and the long term average MPG on my dash shows right at 27.0 MPG, which, again, outperforms my previous 2012 A4 2.0 4 cylinder model. Bottom line is couldn’t be happier with my A7. My dealership in the Denver area has been exceptional with service (by the way, I purchased Audi’s extended service package at around $1200 and it way more than paid for itself as it covered all routine maintenance service for 4 years; a must buy for all Audi owners!). My only issues since purchasing my A7 have been a rattle in the dashboard that the dealership fixed once but it came back, only to mysteriously disappear before the dealership could pinpoint it for another repair, and a blemish in the leather seat cushion on the passenger side that Audi would not cover for replacement under warranty. That still bothers me as they tried to claim I had caused the blemish through carelessness on my part, which never happened! I also have the rear cargo mat that came with wrinkles around the perimeter. The dealership did replace it with a better one; but it, too, didn’t fit well. I ended up cutting the lip off the bottom edge (I left both sides as is) and it now fits just fine. The most irritating thing for me on a luxury car of this cost is the lack of a lumbar support button on the passenger seat of the base seats; Even my 2012 A4 S-Line had that feature! I’m flabbergasted that Audi would sell an $80K luxury sedan with such basic seats, especially in a Premium Plus model equipped with the S-Line package!! My only other complaint, which I’ve seen in other reviews you posted, is the excessive use of bright metal on the dash and the difficulty in using the touch screens while driving. What happened to the good old fashion knobs and buttons for adjusting air conditioning and changing radio stations?? All in all I still rate this A7 as an exceptional luxury car.
