Really wanted a AWD plug-in hybrid and they’re weren’t a lot of choices of in stock cross over PHEV. I leased and came with the $7500 tax credit. So far I’ve owned it for a month and no major issues. The forward collision service light keeps going on and off. The cell phone charger doesn’t work as it just heats up my phone but never charges it. The transmission is pretty clunky and not very refined and doesn’t change gears till very late almost like it’s in the sport mode but it happens in the normal “natural” mode. I am getting about 32 all EV miles before having to charge again. If you’re only charging level one it takes longer than 8 1/2 hours. Plan on about 10- 10 1/2 hours. And yes I have the settings set to charge the fastest possible. Hopefully it’s reliable for the 3 years of my lease.

We have had this car for about a year in a half. We have used it for long road trips and daily commutes. We have two Subarus but use this car the most. My wife and I have two kids and a dog and we have plenty of room. It is a joy to drive and the quality is outstanding as it still feels like new. We have had no issues at all. This just a great all around car and can’t recommend it highly enough.

I just bought a Tonale exactly 30 days ago and have been driving it for a while. I would give it a 5 star even though it has a few missing features such as the passenger mirror tilt down while in reverse! Which is disappointment and then some but I can not take a star off because of that. The touch screen interactive panel is somewhat confusing because it has lot of embedded features, I presume it takes a while to get used to it. The battery feature is the reason I purchased the car, works a lot better than my MBZ GLC350e that I replaced, it gets more like 50 miles and because it has the regenerative brakes, it actually gets a lot more than 33 miles that is rated for on the battery. The 1.3 Litter Engine is mighty, it is unbelievable, unheard of almost 190 horses out of that small engine is a miracle. The car is fast, comfortable and it has a billion safety features, I love that is able to keep the car in its own lane by steering accordingly. It is a smart Car, Its an Alfa and I am delighted to have purchased it.

I only have this plug in and gas saver suv for nearly 3 months and so far I’m very happy with it. It is very high tech and simple enough to be used for short or long drives every day on electric or gas motors or both at the same time. I really recommend it to anyone who likes to drive and enjoy it at the same time.

Never thought I’d drive an Alfa but got interested after learning more about the Tonale model and ended up getting it. A good match of left and right brain, heart and mind… performance wise, style wise and other wise. So far, so good.
