2500 miles
This is a really good car. Very solid and enjoy driving. Best value for my dollar. I do think Acura should step up to the plate and turbo the engine on the 2.4 to compete with Lexus and Germans.

Don't understand the poor reviews on this car?
This car is a dream to drive and if "your are alive" really fun too! With the 8 speed, it can be a real "hot rod". Once the cam and ignition advance at 5,000 RPM, it is hard to believe it is a four cylinder!!! It can hit 100 mph on on-ramps. . . how much more do you need? The "engine matching" rpm works great and always smooth at RPM's above 3,000. Extremely quite inside, great sound system, and a very luxurious feeling with the high quality leather seats. The drivers seat retract each time you enter. . make it so easy! The four wheel steering really makes cornering very stable and faster than normal, with confidence that you will stay there! For $28,000.(April 2016) I think it was the best buy out there!!!! I just put 315,000 "hard miles"(full acceleration most of the time") on a '97 Accord and am looking for this one to do 350,00 to 400,000 miles!!!(their advertisement said it is fun to drive a 4 cylinder that red lines @ 6,800 rpms and it is!!! UpDATE AT 32,000 Miles: I standby all of the above. . (Good Year tires do "squeal" on hard corners. .. ) Split screen is great from music. . shows the details at once) 50,000 Miles . . . Still just like new! I have no desire to have any other car! Honda really knows how to build a great car! 60.000 Miles. . . I believe if you covered all the name plates and specific designs, I don't think people could tell the difference between the TLX and similar BMW or Audi when driving it. It is a real sleeper! Grandmothers, keep you grand kids away from it. . because when they find out what the car can really do-hang on!!! 72000 -Still great -looking at the drivers seat and almost no wear!!! What a car!! 78,000 - Love the engine when it hits 5,000 RPM - - It forgets it is a 4 cylinder!!! 85,000 - Getting a lot of garage time, so still the great car that Honda makes!

Deceiving
I had a v6 with very low mileage and moderate use . I got horrible fuel economy with moderate driving. Looks good from the outside but feels cheaper in the inside compared to similarly priced vehicles. And finally it’s not as reliable as you may think. Just because it’s a "Honda" doesn’t mean it’s reliable. Battery dead after only 3 years. Rust began to appear after 4 years even with regular rust treatment and being in a heated garage during winter. New motor and car noises every now and then. Crack when you turn the wheel after 4 years. Overall i do not recommend. You can get way better for the price.

A used TSX is better than a new TLX.
I have owned Acura cars for over 20 years and this one is the worst. Getting in and out is terrible as the reach to close the door is too far and the seats are too low. You can not see the front of the car so parking head-in is just guess work as you never know how close you are to the wall. The entertainment system is far too complicated and not easy to use. I never feel comfortable driving the car and wish I had obtained something else. I want my old TSX back. I really hate this mistake of a car. Every time I get in the car I hate it more than the last time. Worst car I ever had. Major mistake.

TLX Early Impressions
Car has above average technology for the entry luxury sedan class, but below average performance for the category. Also, the engine automatic stop when stationary at a traffic light, etc. is annoying and requires manual override.

Second time around
Owned my 2006 Acura for 10+ years and over 105,000 miles. Loved it and when it came time to replace it, I purchased the Acura make, model, color, etc. that came closest to my previous car. Never considered any other options. I'm sure I will love this model for the next 100,000 miles as well.

big bang for the buck!
I feel this car is an outstanding value when compared to others in its class (Lexus, Infinity, C-Class). For what you get, it is priced significantly better. Rides and drives beautifully. Interior detail is a little more basic and not quite as luxurious, but it's still very nice, quiet and super comfortable. I'm happy.

Comfort Ride
Most quiet and comfortable car I've ever driven. Easy to drive and easy to steer. Braking is responsive, auto braking works well. Appx observed overall MPG 21-25, always engaged in Sport mode. Engine power is decent, shifting is smooth. Sometimes the car suffers from turbo-like lag under acceleration, like most VTEC engines. Build quality exceptional. I love driving this car everyday.

Acura should add twin turbo to this 3.5 9sp set u
I owned a 2016 advance package with sh awd for about 4 months now and I love it so far. Once u put it in sport + and hit it. She flies! The shift are pretty accurate. I love what Acura did with it. I just can't wait until they add twin turbo to the 3.5, 9 speed machine. O.M.G she a be a beast on wheels. But overall great job Acura hopefully this PMC or PCM version of the TLX a have twin turbo added on the 3.5. And I'm loving the NSX I've seen 2 ppl buy one already. Again great job Acura!

Affordable Luxury Vehicle
Beautiful car with standard luxury features like power moonroof, heated seats and mirrors, dual entertainment screens with power driver and passenger seat. The drive is always smooth and quiet and this vehicle is very good on gas. The only downfall to this vehicle is it’s mediocre back up camera which cannot be updated or upgraded.

Sluggish & Poor Map Search Voice Activation System
The car is very sluggish accelerating after stopping. I even tok itto the dealer thinking it was a defect. The voice activation system to make a phone call or finding a route to a place is horrible. It never understands correctly the commands. This is my first and last ACURA TLX. There is no upgrade for the Electronic Commands System. Acura has done a poor job.
This car is better than sex
It goes vroom, it got the leather seats, it can even drive itself on the highway. Better get it used though to afford it.
The Right One for Me
I do have a problem with closing the drivers' door, It is too far from seat.

Great look and feel, but the engine needs work
Haven’t had the car long and glad I got a 100,000 warranty after reading about all the issues. I haven’t experienced the 60mph and over issue “yet”, but Indi agree that the breaking and acceleration power needs a little help. For the price, the car comes loaded with extras, and it’s very comfortable and the 5 star safety ratings on this vehicle are also comforting. I know 2 other people with the same car, and after 2 years, they haven’t experienced anything major yet, and they both drive for a living so... Overall, I’m crossing my fingers that all works out until my next purchase in a few years, but for now I’ve equipped my Acura TLX with 20” rims, a system, and some dark tint, so it’ll at least look good in the driveway, if I do have issues. Good Luck everyone!
