Straight Talk
Quick Summary: great seat comfort for all day travels - very stable in a straight line on the highways and it corners exceptionally well - quiet cabin but noticeable tire noise on some surfaces - lots of nice features - touch pad interface with the screen is hopelessly complicated and frankly is unsafe in a motor vehicle as it requires WAY too much attention to do anything because it is not intuitive at all and requires the manual for even the simplest tasks. My 2005 MDX had a wonderful NAV system, but this one is way too complicated. If I had to buy this car over again I would just buy the basic model and use a garmin gps or even my iphone instead.

Incredibly bad mileage buggy infotainment
Can you imagine an Acura having an average MPG of 14-15 MPG. The dealer says it is normal and nothing wrong with the car. 220 miles per tank. I really do love the look of the car inside and out. They have done a great job. The infotainment system is incredibly buggy, and I am shocked that the car went out with it. 1. The system crashes and reboots at least once a week. 2. The radio will just stop working for no reason. You will have to turn the car off, and restart for it to work. Another option is to reset the infotainment system through the diagnostics option. 3. The WiFi hotspot doesn't work. Acura has known about it since at least February, and yet no fix. I would have thought that these issues would have been fixed within a few months, but it seems they just prefer that we just deal with it. Very disappointing from a Japanese car company.

The Only Review You Need To Read!
Ignore the negative reviews. This car has it all! It has an outstanding ride, perfect handling, quality finishes, plenty of room inside but drives small, and Honda build quality. If you want better gas mileage, get a hybrid. If you want more luxury, pay 20 grand more for a German car. If you want a car that has it all for a great price, this is it!

Trading my X5 for MDX
I had so much issue with my Range Rover sports and X5. Finially decide on going back to Japanese. Very impressed by the 2022 MDX. Yes it is not as luxurious as BMW or Range Rover but so is the price. It is 20k less than my X5 or 30k f less than my Range Rover sports. The luxury is about 80%_90% This is good enough and really I am no longer have to worry about stuck on trips with my new cars as what other 2 did to me
What an amazing car!
Purchased a 2022 MDX Advance SH-AWD a week and half ago and I have to say that this is by far the most comfortable ride I have been in. It is not the fastest or aggressive, that is not what the MDX was made for. It is all about the ride comfort, luxury and convenience this vehicle can provide for you and your family. My wife and kids love it and they agree that this is the best car we've owned and I have owned all MDX generations and the I also own the current RDX Aspec.
