A Wonderful Car!
I bought the car at 7 years old with 69000 miles. The styling first attracted me and it still turns heads. I took care of the brakes, timing belt, etc before I drove it and have put no money in it except for routine maintenance. The car is incredibly reliable.
Great daily driver
Other than rust, it has been a fantastic car. Drive it nearly every day, it outperforms most cars on the roa. It especially handles well.

Thank's Mom
My mother in law sold me her ride for $1. Thanks Mom! I can't believe that the car has only 160 hp. It is so fast and the passing power is incredible. Reliability is great. The car was in a really bad front end accident in '94 and it must have been perfectly rebuilt. I can't tell. Mom's dog tore up the rear leather seats because they were dry rotted. Rust in all the typical Legend areas. Otherwise this car used is better than most new cars that cost $20,000. Even newer Acuras aren't this nice inside.
A gem
Got a '90 Legend for our younger son in 2000 with 122K, one owner car. Now we own it and it has 171K. We LOVE this car. Not the fastest or best handling, but that engine still sings and it does not want to run less than 80 on the interstate - she will still do 100 in a snap. Ride, comfort and balance are excellent, and it is so LOW - the lowest 4 door sedan I have seen in a long time. We are looking UP at other people all the time - I like it. Will be a sad day indeed when it comes time to let go of her which is fast approaching. That second timing belt/water pump change is hard to justify for such an old car. The 2.7 liter first series Legend, is one of the best cars ever made, IMHO.
They can't all be winners
Every time I drive this car, I wish I hadn't bought it. It had 145,000 miles, so I expected to make some repairs. I've replaced the motor, the master cylinder, the alternator, the radio, some calipers, and inumerable other things. It's on its third transmission. The power seat is stuck, the seat memory broke, the ABS motor is shot, the power windows are broken, and the power antenna is stuck down. The A/C compressor is dead, the vent only vents hot air, and the car reeks of exhaust when the windows are down, as they have to be, given the above problems. There are too many more things wrong with this car to list. Oh, and it's rusting out badly.
