2005 Toyota Avalon Sedan Limited 4dr Sedan (3.5L 6cyl 5A)

Review

This car has loads of room front and back. Large trunk and leg room in rear seats to give away. A neat new look outside that should stay in style for some years to come. The dash controls are easy to read day or night (back lit for nite). It's full of new tech features like the push button start/stop with your keys never leaving yor pocket. The automatic windshield wipers come on when the drops start to fall and speed up or down depending on the amount of rain without touching one knob. The voice command for various controls like radio and navigation are first class. This car has it all.

Best Features

Roomy inside and large trunk to boot. Four golf bags tell the story here.

Worst Features

Transmission & engine speed are computer controled and lack a direct link with the gas peddle. You sometimes feel as your driving by remote control. The delay is slight but enough to irritate when you push down on the gas. They could stiffen the ride a bit and give it a more European road fee

2005 Toyota Avalon Sedan XL 4dr Sedan (3.5L 6cyl 5A)

Review

I owned an Avalon for almost 8 years and I truly liked it. However, the new model is a tremendous improvement in exterior and interior design; it has great confort features (T control on both sides, control buttons on drive wheel, reclineable rear seats) and sound system (9 speakers), safety features, and a terrific 3.5 lt engine.

The Avalon is new and better than ever, with almost Lexus-like Styling, Lexus-like luxury, and Lexus- like Power, no wonder it is great

Worst Features

Sometimes the Navigation system can lock up. fix that

2005 Toyota Avalon Sedan Limited 4dr Sedan (3.5L 6cyl 5A)

Review

Outstanding car. Was also looking at Cadillac but came across Avalon by chance. Took 1 test drive and never looked back. Great power, very roomy (including back seats) and spectacular dash design. Push-button start and door locks are best idea since the Model T. I will never go back to a "key" car again. Absolutely the best luxury car value on the market.

Best Features

Push-button start & door locks. Great sound system. POWER. Reclining rear seats (unheard of in a sedan).

Worst Features

Ride is great but a little noisy when going over concrete (nonblacktop) roads.

2005 Toyota Avalon Sedan Limited 4dr Sedan (3.5L 6cyl 5A)

Review

I test drove one of these (Limited & Fully-loaded). It's hot. Way better than the plain models before it. It's got speed, it's smooth, and you could practically live in this spacious, and wonderful car. This one came with an awesome sound system and dual dvd head- rest. I passed a maxima (that tried to race me) in flying colors. Toyota really did it this time. I would buy this before the 2005 Lexus GS I feel in love with, plus the 2006 GS is messed up for as exterior styling.

Best Features

Sound system, dvd players, navigation system, and lot's of wood grain...

Worst Features

Rear sunshade, 300-350 hp upgrade, one touch keyfob button that could start the car and let windows/sunroof down/back, and maybe upgrade the 360 watt system to 420 watts.
